This may not have all the bells and whistles as some much more expensive stands but for a solid stand for a phone or small tablet that has plenty options for different angles and simple and easy to use! The stand has worked great 👍 for me lately I use it mainly with my iPad mini for recording streaming!

Thank you for mentioning your experience with other cellphone holders. That was very helpful. I've also seen that people complain about how cheaply the screws and plastic pieces are made that attach to the tables or one of the articulations. They break within two months, usually. This one looks pretty solid. But it looks heavier, would you say it's less portable most others?

So far it’s held up nicely! The base is the heaviest part it weighs a few pounds which makes it nice and sturdy. As far as portability I really only have used it on my desk but it can easily be moved around.

Thanks for this review! I got a different holder that also has a light but since the joints cannot be manually tightened, it has sadly worn over time and doesn't hold up the phone well anymore. Can't wait to try this one out!

Crazy, I bought one too, but it also had a missing base connector for the screw on the bottom and the groves were different colors. I did buy the black one though. Gonna return it, unfortunately 😅

Yes, the holder can be rotated 360 and face the opposite way, or you could put the phone in screen facing down.

I usually only record clips on my phone. So maybe 10 min long clips at most. Any long clips or time-lapse I use a separate camera.

Needing the key for adjustments is not good IMHO. Plus you need to have it on the table too. So you have less place for the things yu want to capture. Hmmm ... continuing my search I guess.

The Allen key adjustment is definitely not ideal! 🙃 When I purchased this I was on a limited budget and adjustable phone stands without a Allen key for adjustments were double or more cost wise! If cost is not an option and you don’t want to take up desk space you might want to look into floor stands. They tend to not bounce around like desk mounted adjustable arm stands. Hope you find something to fit your needs! ✌️

Thank you for this video its perfect for what I need. One minor suggestion focus more on the brand and product name in future videos. Even though you DO a great job of showing the product and options the name is only flashed for a couple of seconds off at the top edge. Just so people know what product to search for. Otherwise great job!

Best trick for not getting the base in the video shots? That's always my biggest issue. I usually camo with a towel but so tedious

When I use my iPhone or iPad mini for filming I make sure camera on the phone is furthest away from the base. I also make the main support arm go straight out so it looks like an upside down L. In larger higher up shots it’s not able to avoid unfortunately. (On a side note: I plan on drawing on mine so atleast it’s something to look at 😂
