Thanks for the comment! Nothing is as easy as it looks. I believe I cut out video of where I attempted to attached the top part backwards. It is fairly easy to do once you get started and get familiar with the parts and pieces you receive in the box. Appreciate that you watched the video and best of luck to you!

The barrel nut got stuck in the wrong hole

What to do if a screw gets stuck in the wrong hole ? Please help

So, a couple of things you can do but you'll have to have the tools. You could use a small flat head screw driver to try to pry the barrel nut out; or you could use a hammer and tap on the wood next to the hole to try to dislodge the barrel nut. I got all the way to the part of putting in the shelves only to find out my top shelf was crooked! So I couldn’t even finish it after 3 hours 😢

Thanks for the comment! I'm curious if the top shelf was manufactured wrong and came out crooked or if maybe you tightened all of the bolts up. If the top shelf was manufactured wrong you should be able to contact the manufacturer and have them send you another top shelf piece. If you tightened all the bolts, try loosening each of them a bit, then trying to place the top shelf in again. May be worth it to give it a try. Appreciate that you watched the video!
