Standard deck of cards can also be used for Lost Cities, it's playable with 4 suits or just use a marker for the 5th suit. :)

allowing BGG marketplace in this competition seems like an obvious flaw. Of course you can lucky, but you won't find these kind of prices all the time. The final result ended up being 'lol, just get lucky and grab these big name games 2nd hand for a couple bucks and a pack of chewing gum'.

Love the concept for this video, but would be better if it was based on retail/on sale prices instead of used copies. its a fun competition for u two, but makes it less practical for the viewers. great vid as always

My favorite new cheap...ish game was For Northwood! It has been impossible to find the last 6 months but a few sites had pre-orders for $18 so I slapped it in my cart and sure enough it showed up sooner than expected. I've been having a lot of fun with it so far. Great wideo guys thank you for your superb quality content!

Campaign game - 7th continent had a full re-print of their cards due to a colour error, you can often pick up the entire card set for like 10-20 euro and just need to add some dice and placeholders. It's insane value for how much game you get

Second hand market is the way to go. If dont like the game, you can sell for same price or some eur 10 cheaper. Less loss than selling Kickstarter games you did not like.
