Across the street from the Ranch 99 Market off of Clairemont Mesa Blvd is a complex with Lolita's Mexican Food, Katsu Cafe & Tea Station. Any of those 3 mentioned are favorite spots of mine and can't forget to include Tea N More 👍

There's a ton of Thrifty Ice Cream around, just a cursory search on Maps I found over 40. Good to know about the 24 hour eatery in San Diego, aside from the proverbial Denny's/Norm's! Norm's didn't even stay open during the pandemic! Another great video Jake Ayshun!🤣

I love Chinese food but I tend to prefer cleaner Chinese food versus *authentic* more cafeteria style Chinese cuisine if that’s the right word. I like to go to Asian bistros where they serve all white meat chicken that is cleaned completely. I do go to Panda Express occasionally and they’re pretty good for fast Chinese.

I have not gone yet to verify, but Pokez in East Village is said to have half price burritos on Wednesdays... and one of the recent reviews for them mentioned "$5 Wednesdays burritos". So they may still exist! (They have a sign that says ATM INSIDE, so they might be cash only)

A guilty pleasure I like from Sam Woo was Roast Duck and BBQ Pork on Rice, not as easy as the buffet, but you can order it from the cashier without having to sit down, and watch the guys cut it up.. The Irvine location used to be a weekly visit (sometimes more) when I lived up there, much better than the KM location...try the Tri-shreaded Fried Rice! I loved Thrifty Ice Cream, which used to be only 25 cents per scoop, back in the day. I hate inflation.. the best deals in South Bay include Tita's, but now over $11 for their 2 item combo, and Taco El Gordo (or Taco el G in National City), but the tacos are now $3 a piece.

Awesome little coffee shop that also sells these tasty little burritos. Very affordable at $3.75 each. Two of them are the perfect breakfast. San Diego Burger Co in seaport village is good you get any kind big juicy turkey burger with avocado, fish burger, and cheese burger, protein burger for 7.00 to 8.95. And they huge burgers. sayulitas Mexican on 43nd food has huge burritos for about 8.00 - 10.00 dollars and the Mega burrito would to go to the los primos mexican food at Liberty station that will cost about 12.00
