Honestly I would prefer a lower chipset. Maybe an i7 or even i5 so the price of this thing would drop to around the gigabyte aorus 15, which is around $1000. That would be a great budget option. Not everyone has that much cash in their pockets. As someone who travels a lot, I really appreciate gaming laptops. We just need more friendly budget options

I just got a Asus Rog strix which has a metal lid for under $1000, an i5 and a 4060. Easily the best build quality for the price. I won't touch the Acer nitros again, my old one had terrible thermals and the hinge completely broke which ended up destroying the screen too.

@PixelatedWolf2077 there's a great deal of difference. The s20fe I use for emulation is greatly inferior to it's US equivalent - which I also understand to be 5g capable too. I should have access to all the GTA Definitive Editions and many other titles as part of my Netflix subscription, but no, Netflix locked them to phones only equipped with Snapdragon SoC's, thereby excluding millions of galaxy S series phones. Thermal throttling is a huge issue on every exynos phone I've used too. _You_ buy from them pal, I ain't giving them a penny ever again.

I think Red Magic is way off the mark this time. At that price 2000GBP (roughly $2600), it's way, way overpriced compared to competitors. You don't need a core i9 in laptop, especially there's only a minor changes for both intel (from 13th to 14th) and AMD (7000 to 8000). Plus, there's already some reports about 13th and 14th HX (H is fine) issues with some brands like Lenovo and Asus so this doesn't help the situation either. 4060 in $2600 laptop is already a crime. Infinix did that around $1200 with i9-13900H with slighitly worse build. More reputable brands like Lenovo LOQ or TUF price just slightly more than Infinix. And even if the price will be way lower outside UK & EU (taxes I guess?), unless it's less than $1200 then it won't survive against other reputable brands. I don't see who wants to pay more for... what is this laptop stand out from the competitors again? The price? Because if we removed that logo & embed name I thought this is either a Gigabyte or some random Chinese gaming laptop OEM.
