My bio is pretty random: In short, I am a professional singer/songwriter from Toronto, Canada who moved to Manila, Philippines which sorta became my Hollywood because my first KZbin channel MIKEYBUSTOSVIDEOS grew popular due to Filipino comedy videos. Meanwhile, I'm also a big biology geek who is obsessed with ants, so I built an internationally operating ant business supported by another popular channel called ANTSCANADA, and well basically, today I travel and tour around the world doing what I love so I wanted to start this vlogging channel, in hopes to encourage you guys to follow your dreams no matter how random, by showing you what happened when I followed mine! You just never know where life will take you when you listen to the yearnings of your heart!

Proud Bacolodnon here. I miss home!!!! LOVE how GS has solar panels on their roof! And yes! You HAVE TO HAVE chicken oil. Chicken oil is just regular oil which atsuete/atchuete basically, annato seeds. The seeds usually get fried gently, you don't want burnt flavour, and it gives this bright orange colour and the taste is similar to a sesame oil but not as pronounced. Classic umami flavour and we can it chicken oil because it's usually eaten with chicken inasal.

As for the oil, it can be called Chicken Oil if it was cooked using chicken bottom and fat, oil, and Annatto Seeds or Atsuete seeds. If the chicken parts are not used, then it’s just called Annatto oil :)

I wish I could work at Global strategic even if I’m here in LA 🤣😂 PS. The Chicken Oil comes from the Anatto (Atsuete) Oil + other oils (olive oil, corn oil, vegetable oil & canola oil. Others put a little butter for extra flavor). They use this oil mixture to brush on the chicken as it’s cooking for color and flavor.. I’m not from Bacolod but I learned how to make it..

Huhuhu I saw your post last time that you were at Bacolod but sadly I am at my grandparents in Escalante. Escalante is up North of Negros Occidental and it’s known for its very beautiful beaches! I hope you get to visit here cuz I’m sure you’ll love it here! Floating cottage is a hit here and Escalante is only an hour and a half trip from Bacolod! I hope I get to meet you soon!

Bacolod Chicken Inasal is one of my favorite Filipino foods! BTW, Bacolod is one of my house maid's province and in fact, that maid of mine knows how to make Chicken Inasal!

Let’s see if you can get away with this... using the term maid in a video for a crowd called the Mabuhay Squad. But yes, you are lucky. I’d love to have House Boy who can make this BBQ. I can eat 9 to 10 cups of rice with this food.
