if you're gonna play pure chimera, i would cut the droplets and play 11+ hand traps in the main. i feel like hand traps aren't impactful anymore unless you have a critical mass of them (2+ in the opening being so desirable) if you're a fan of board-breakers, i would play a variant. branded, horus, fiendsmith when we get them, just because you can get away with squeezing in less copies of that type of card. variants do have their perks. branded has rindbrumm, dragoon and mirrorjade. horus has...photon lord? i guess pretty much every variant of chimera is just trynna nibiru-proof itself at the end of the day LMFAO i do agree with droplet > super poly in non-branded variants tho. the extra deck becomes super tight when you introduce synchros, xyz and links. and yeah, chimera is super strong going second with the illusion beast otk line, so going over the top of almost any board with droplet makes perfect sense

Is there any reason why you're not running Ty-phon in the extra? It can be a life saver against some very specific cards, you don't have space to run it or is it because it's expensive?

Looks like a pretty standard list. You'd have to go past 43 cards if you play the third Crossout or else you'll brick. Wouldn't worry about the missing cards, should become more affordable after KoMoney double dips and sells reprints in the tins. Deck is really strong, but if your opponent chains Shifter when you activate Chimera Fusion (instead of shotgunning it), you pretty much lose on the spot. I'm fine with it because this deck is nasty to have play against going second and it just gets even more busted after the next set.
