Best Chinese BBQ Meats Meal in Toronto Chinatown

I had the opportunity to try out Cantonese Chinese styled BBQ roast pork over rice at New Hong Fatt in Toronto Chinatown with ‪@OUTNABOUTwithYoursTrulyLIZZOC‬ It was the best version of this dish I've ever had. This restaurant has been in the neighborhood for a long time and it showed!

I went here with my boyfriend on a trip a couple of weeks ago after we went to the art museum, and we were blown away. The duck is absolutely incredible as well, the chicken is a pleasant choice and the broths and noodles? Exquisite! It's just nice to get tea and soup without even asking, it's cheap as Hell, this place rules.

I remember the Og Hong Fat, think it use to be on Dundas and Centre, this location use to be a real estate office back in the 70s and 80s, Toronto Chinatown food has always been on par with NYC and Vancouver

House soup is OG HK, a perk lost on the new generation. Both missed out on YOLO not to order roasted goose, which is so seldom offered, even in Toronto. New Hong Fat had it up to months into the lockdown. I was so lucky to have one years before, YOLO.

You have to realize that Toronto has the best Chinese food on the continent. There's no comparison. Also, most of the good stuff is in Markham and Scarborough, not downtown. I am Asian American and have worked in almost every state and go to Asia several times a year so I have a good frame of reference.
