Just goes to show nothing has to be brand new. An outfit can be years in the making, as I well know. I wear a lot of vintage and second hand pieces, some I've had for nearly 20 years and I'm not yet 40 shall we say. There is always something out there to be found or if you get the chance to buy something a little more expensive it will be something you will cherish forever. My aunt worked with Edina on the film Slave Girls also known as Prehistoric Woman. My aunt was the blond and she bought a dress from Edina and my cousin still has it today. Leonora you & I share the same philosophy of helping charity. I donated bags of size 22 clothing when I recently had bariatric surgery & now I am glad to wear size 10 or 12 clothing. I buy many lovely pieces from Op Shops because it helps charity & helps us so I don't buy overpriced retail clothing. I LOVE vintage & when I was 15 there was a lovely Op Shop that had a cute grey faux fur vintage coat with pink satin lining. It was $2 in the 70's & I wore it all the time to College with my jeans & tops or vintage skirts & shirts. Good on you re gifting & sharing the generous gifts you receive.
