Good job on the list. But one movie you missed was the 1951 version of a Christmas Carol with Alister Sim. Easily the best version ever made. Not only is it very creepy and really plays up the mood especially in black and white but the acting is amazing. He doesn't play Scrooge as a typical bah humbug kind of grouchy guy. But he plays it as if he had deluded himself into believing that he is right and everyone else just doesn't get it. It's incredibly moving later on and nothing has topped it to this day. The Bishop's Wife is also amazing. X tier easily. The remake just didn't come close. Cary Grant was the most charming and charismatic actor of all time and every time he's on the screen the film is pure gold. Just amazing.
