Thanks James! Another great informative video. To save some money I’ve been making my own blends. I’ve found online sources for mushroom powders and add in my own spices. I’m pretty sure it works out to be less expensive than using the prepared blends. Something to consider if you’re serious about adaptogen drinks and drinking them on a regular basis. I also prefer some sweetness and body to my lattes and will whisk in some protein powder.

Wow! Absolutely love this response and feedback, as you clearly know your stuff. Sorry I didn’t take a more informative approach from from the adaptation point of view. This is big science now. I’m keen to review some homemade alternatives, as they are expensive xx

This was really interesting (and I loved the hail interruption in the middle!). I appreciated your review and that you included the smell, taste etc... it gave a good idea of the overall experience. I've recently stopped drinking coffee ironically because I have to cut back on foods that are usually contaminated with mold. However, when I was drinking it I often added freeze dried lion's mane and a few drops of a homemade reishi tincture. I tried the four sigmatic brand (I don't know if you have that on your side of the pond) as well but haven't tried a straight alternative before.

Interesting to hear about the taste but how did it make you feel? Did it do the things it claims in terms of energy and alertness, for example?

Sorry, I didn’t cover that side but I did find that it relaxed me. I’m not overly sensitive to caffeine and not too perceptive of the mild effects but generally believe that mushrooms and Funghi generally do support mental and physical wellbeing. This is something I’m researching a lot on at the moment and reading various books
