I have asked a senior who got placed in 2024 placement drive for VIT Vellore campus, MSC DATA SCIENCE - Average package is - 4 LPA, Highest package is - 12 LPA (1 student), 4 People got (8 Lakh plus package), Rest 10% Lies between - 4.5 LPA TO 8 LPA. And, NOT EVERYONE GOT PLACED.

@@harshitagupta5869 It is, The department of Data Science in VIT Is new, I believe it started in 2017, And two of the batches passed out during COVID, I might be brutal, But i have verified it from 5 - 6 students of VIT Msc in Data Science program & There statement was - IF YOU ARE IN TOP 5 OF CLASS, Then VIT is good. Otherwise there is immense struggle, Also VIT focus more on theoretical part, than Practical field - Like projects and all - Thus makes it even worse w.r.t. curriculum.
