Avoid Mackie Cr-X. Tried the CR5-X and they were hissing badly when idle. Other people had the same issue. Looks like there was a mix of CR and Cr-X in this video. The old series that don't suffer from loud hiss are the ones with green trim around the drivers where thr Cr-X do have a rectangular green trim around the whole front. I've returned my Mackies and went with Kanto YU and couldn't be happier. Brilliant sound plus they came with a remote. I have to say that this video is lacking some Edifier. Edifier in general are quite often a go to option for many people.

Almost went with the Audioengine A2+ but opted for the Kanto YU2. To my ears they sound so much alike. I like that the Kanto is a bit smaller than the AE. Also the slot is in back of the Kanto speakers making the design even more minimal and classy. There's a power light in front of the Kanto speakers which also swayed me. The price is a bit lower and the Kanto speaker stands are designed more to my liking. I got the glossy black which seems hard to find. Both the Audioengine and Kanto are really quality and if I needed 2 pair I certainly would have bought an additional pair from Audioengine.

A total deal-breaker for any PC speaker is if they put the volume dial on the back. I need real-time tangible reachable knobs right up front where they are instantly accessible, none of that fiddling with reaching around and guessing where it is. That also goes for remote controls or any adjustment which is a tap-tap-hold function - nope! I need physical knobs up front for instant access and adjustment.

I’m running the Q Acoustics BT3 monitors. Originally they felt cold but after running in time they produce a lovely slightly warm sound. No sub needed as they somehow produce bucket loads of thunderous bass when required and they seem enthusiastic to do so. Although now no longer produced, at release they were not cheap if using as a PC/Gaming setup but I can say FPS games are where these speakers excel. They can pick out and relay every minute detail and sudden clutch moments? You certainly know your heart is beating! Due to all connectivity options (I’m using optical) I shouldn’t need to replace these for quite a while yet. I would recommend a used set as a budget entry into high - end gaming audio.

After you have heard the KEF's tweeter produce vocals or synthesizers and compare it to the logitechs you will never want to stop listening to the KEF's! @Kenneth86666 2 жыл бұрын
@@geovanifelipe3764 I also have these Eris 4.5 but the BT version (bluetooth 5.0) I use them with a laptop and no additional cables are needed. They connect by themselves whenever the laptop is around. I will never go back to cabled speakers for laptop or tablet use. Soundwise they are impressive. Do someone get the wrong impression by watching others review? Yes. You have to take account for the small size and the actual power of the speakers. They will not substitute for large party type speakers. But if you compare to most PC speakers they will absolute be in the high-end class. Very crisp sound. Basswise they are meh. By that i mean they do punch a little, but for bass lovers - a subwoofer would make it alot better. I tried the Eris 3.5 in the shop, and to me they just sounded too weak. The sound signature was ok,but i felt the 4.5 was much better.

I should add - I am not a fan of Logitech speakers. I dont like the sound of them at all. They can certainly make high volume, and the subwoofer is actually ok.If you can get your hands on a set of Z-2200 tho, they sound OK. I know the Z-5500 is still regarded as the top of the line in speakers from Logitech. For some reason they downgraded after this series. The newest stuff are just not good - To me at least.

I also have to constantly raise and lower the sound when watch youtube; some videos are quiet, others are loud, speech can be muffled, but then when music suddenly kicks in, it becomes very loud. I have tried equalisers, they are hard to find and I can't really get them to work. I have tried different sound profiles, they become too bassy or too sharp. I'm using the Logitech MX Sound. The quality is fine but the bases are a bit lacking sometimes. My biggest gripe is that I have to do re do the powercord because they won't turn on. This happens to me often.

Yeah, I'll take a wireless 3-Way Powered Bookshelf Speaker over all these choices. I've found some with gorgeous finishes, impeccable 3 way sound & the beauty of better amp driving them - instead of all of these stale, dull class D offerings. They have all the features n' convenience of a true wireless speaker - ready to take any streamed content or a lossless signal - user's preference. Way more money, but so worth it!

Different people have different needs, that's why cheap speakers are selling so good because not everyone is an audiophile.

Its funny I really wanted a set in high school in the 2000s , finally got a set 14 years later and hate myself for not picking them up earlier. Once they wear in they have a nice sound and are super loud.

Logitech Z623 (Not 625) By FAR best bang for your buck (I dont own the 625, but its the same as the 623 except the amp was downgraded and ive heard it noticeably impacted the lows)

Audioengine HD3 is the way to go (add Audioengine sub bass and youve got a winner). every youtube reviewer (in a hearding instinct way) chooses the Audioengine A2 for a minor savings over the HD3 which gives you your best bang for your buck!

I just bought some G560 and I am returning. The audio is not good for the price point and the RGB does not work with Windows 10. It does not save profiles. It randomly jumps between lighting settings - overall it's just bad. I'd rather pay $200 for quality sound and no lighting. I wish these lived up to the hype because for the 5 minutes they worked in game, it was great! Not worth the frustration.
