Love this channel, in another video I saw the best explanation of anaerobic vs aerobic that I've ever seen in my life, including biology and exercise science related classes I took as part of my degree!

For strategy 1, if we are prioritizing the athletes strength work, I would have thought it would be a case of "get the most important thing done first" and therfore we would go to strength workout before we had anything else. Why is it better that it would be after. (The fact that it is best on a different day is easy enough to understand). Why would it interfere if we already got our strength work in?

Because aerobic work can suppress MTOR, which is an important gene to be switched on for muscle growth and repair.

Hello coach... wondering if for masters athletes does the aerobic heart rate (130-150) change or do we hold it there regardless of age?
