I don't think the producers did that. Considering how Jeff feels about quitters, I doubt he or the producers would do something like that. Especially since the producers are trying to make good TV, watching two players quit is pretty disappointing and I don't think they'd do something that'll make fans lose interest

Gotta love Tyson's confessional about his wife being voted out and leaving first then talking about how too many people let Survivor ruin their lives, mentioning Colton. Flashforward to season 40 he talks about how some people can't handle the stresses of the game & some quit... He was talking about how Colton quit on Blood vs Water. Tyson is so darn smart and has so much knowledge of Survivor.

@@myperspectiveisimnotblind It could easily be both. Crazy to think of huh? The whole season was a celebration of the show. There were tons of call backs to previous seasons and it would be natural to have some previous season's events come up when you are back with people you may have already played with. Every challenge was picked from a season a Winner played in. At the time of WaW Tyson was and still is an extremely experienced Survivor player. Literally one of the most experienced in terms of number of seasons played. He has also been in the Survivor community since 2009 so he's met A LOT of Survivor players. Not to mention his winning season, which is the theme of season 40, was the last season he played in. Anyways, neither of us can be "pretty sure" unless Tyson himself confirmed it.
