Worst pasty I had was at trago Mills lump of mince one end diced veg at other I like barnecots at rock but second worst was barnecots wadebridge

Well, I live in London, and I dont know where to find a proper pasty here. I used to like the ones sold in railway stations with a pirate on the front, but I lost my taste for them.. Perhaps they sit around too long, because they get a bit dry. However, I did try a ginsters from the supermarket the other day and was very pleasantly surprised . You can get better ones in Cornwall, of course, but it's a long way to go. Better to make my own for once to a traditional recipe, and make the pastry I prefer. (Shortcrust not too doughy. )

Ginsters should not be mentioned in the same breath as Cornish Pasty. They are discussing. Any pasty crimped on top is from Devon.
