PORTUGAL Is An AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL & ENCHANTING COUNTRY! I Completely Concur With Karen Beverly; Gorgeous Cities & Towns, Stunning Beaches, Very High Quality Of Life, Very Safe To Walk Around As a SOLO FEMALE Traveller & Nomad. Love The People, Great Farm-To-Table Produce, Freshest Fish.. Etc. Generally a GREAT ALL ROUND COUNTRY! I❤️ Portugal.🌹x

I don’t know who needs to hear this, but sisters you probably should consider your other options when it comes to relationships. Even if BM were the majority in your host country they certainly would not limit themselves to BW. 🤷🏽♀️ You know it’s true.

It’s been 3 years but I am now planning to leave London…!!! In a couple months I will be heading to the Silver Coast of Portugal…!!! Ready to leave that fast-pace, money-mad, get-it-in lifestyle behind. So tired of race/ethnicity/materialism being an issue or an impact on life… or living. I want to engage with the locals and experience their culture. (Not gonna be one of those folks who wants things to be same/similar to “back home”… otherwise I would’ve stayed in TX!) Gonna try Portugal for awhile, then onto Mexico next year and eventually to Panama. And after that…???

I live is South Korea for a total of 6 years (two tours), US Army. I loved Korea, loved the soldiers. Saw very racism. PS: Yes! I speak Korean! Though I never attended a formal schooling in Korean, I have beed told that I spoke Korean better that they had every heard from a foreign person. Love Korea! I still have some Korean friends after more that 40 years.

Your guest, Karen Beverly, spoke straight LIFE to me!! Things about safety, and guns, and fresh food, etc... all spoke directly to my soul!! Especially that part about having trauma you don't even realize until you leave the situation. I lived in Germany before and could feel that same kind of weight lifted once I got into the groove of the new pace of life. Looking forward to relocating to a new country soon. You've also had so many great countries represented that now I'm starting to reconsider my options!! Ecuador, Rwanda, Mexico, Granada, PORTUGAL, France, etc.... Now I gotta go dig out my 'Dream Location' checklist! hahahahaha I got some re-thinking to do. LOLOL

"Poor" is relative. You have to find a country that fits your needs, whatever they are.
@elleepiphany1 Жыл бұрын
The irony is that despite its “wealth” (in quotes because of its incredible debt), the US is a poor country. “Some people are so poor all they have is money.” It’s a fundamentally anti-human and pathological culture. HUNDREDS of mass shootings, averaging 1.5/day. Epidemic of loneliness, anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues. The only thing that matters is money. One of the most remarkable things I noted in my travels is that the people in these so-called “poor” countries tended to be happier. Pick your poison. 🤷🏾♀️
