Take into account at the time of this video, 2007, this song was already 30 years old. To this day it's still a killer rock song. Gretchen did a good job with this. I saw Heart do this live way back in 1977.

I had the pleasure to see Heart several times and they ROCKED THE HOUSE every time without fail. Gretchen definitely did them proud and stepped perfectly into place to belt this CLASSIC out as it should be done. Of course it’s also great to see Nancy right there playing guitar on the song!

Shawn and Mel, You would not believe how incredibly talented Gretchen Wilson really is. I got to watch her do this song with just her band in concert. And then I watched her do an old school JAZZ song. This woman can flat out sing anything she puts her mind to! I was totally amazed. I liked her country songs, but to see her do rock and jazz as well. WHAT? I HAD NO IDEAL! Now you know just how talented this lady is as well. Loved your reaction to her doing this song!👍👍

At first, I was very skeptical. With all due respect to Gretchen, I really didn't think she could do it justice. But she proved me wrong, so very wrong. It gave me chills just like Annie's performance that blew me away the first time hearing it. And Nancy proves she still has it!

Well, you obviously never heard Moriah Formica. She has covered this song throughout her career and used to do Crazy On You as well. Barracuda is still a staple of her set with her band Plush.

I usually abhor "covers." But, this isn't a "cover," it's a "tribute." And, it's a NASTY one...done by the pairing of a couple of music's heavyweights (kudos to Nancy for getting out there and rippin as well) that, on the surface, one wouldn't think that it'd work. But, if you know a little about Gretchen's past, it makes a lot of sense. She started out singing Rock and can belt out Heart cuts in her sleep. And, of Alice in Chains? Nuttin need be said except "master class is in session...shut up and enjoy."
