Merchant Maverick is amazing info. Own a small retail business doing around 70,000. A month and using world pay but the last several years have raised fees and other add ones are killing me! What is the best merchant account for craft fairs? I sell at craft fairs, maybe twice a month. I want a merchant account to encourage buyers to spend more but I'm not sure what to choose.

Hey, Michelle! If you sell only twice a month, you probably don’t need a true merchant account, just a payment service provider/mobile POS like Square, Shopify, SumUp, or PayPal. For selling unique retail items, we really like Shopify’s Starter plan. Only $5/month and in addition to being a mobile point of sale for in-person selling, it also sets you up with a simple online store and has social selling tools. If you want a completely free mobile POS option, Square and PayPal Zettle are also quite good. Good luck!
