I always used a pretty big and thick crosshair as I felt I could easily see it without having to focus on it but always struggled at long range so I've just started using a small thin crosshair with the dot (static) I usually use blue, but I tried yellow once and honestly felt I could hit headshots way more! Especially against CT since their characters are of a darker colour so the yellow works well 😎 I still change my crosshair way too much...

Green worked great on TF2 because there's practically no green in that game, but coming over to CS it just doesn't stand out as much. Switched to yellow and my crosshair placement instantly started improving

I like to use a dot crosshair. I like to use Lime or Cyan. I use it as it helps me to track the enemy without worrying about the crosshair blocking it. It's honestly good for 2-3 shots sprays (yes I use the galil on T) .

For color I personally use a script on my scroll-up middle mouse button which switch between cyan, yellow and red. I switch depending on the map and locations. If the background is very light, I'm using the red one, if it's dark then I'm using cyan and yellow the rest of the time...

I use Elige cross hair easy to see without being to bright and not hard to lose since it's an off white but I make it entirely white, not a fan of the off white. and it does me pretty good. Better than what I've tested and tried for myself.

so im currently deathmatching with a cl_crosshairgap 20 and change it back to my default gap after 20 mins for 10 mins. works like a charm in improving micro adjustments and a better feel of your screens middle

I use a dynamic dot cross because I feel with a static when your moving it's hard to tell whenever your lined up to get that 1 shot headshot but on dynamic you can get the information from the movement of your crosshair and adjust accordingly to get the perfect because I'm that guy that wants the confrentation to be over in 1 shot . I have the color set to yellow with a 0.5 for the outline to make it stand out a little bit more.

I use a dot bc it's the best static one but dynamic crosses makes it easier to understand timing of weapons so if ur new Def keep dynamic untill you feel comfortable with the weapons

Crosshair is 100 percent preference I prefer a small pink cross personally. Although color of crosshair will have advantages like showing up on some surfaces that others may not etc.

Not sure how to explain my cross-hair.. I use Nick Bunyins cross-hair in crashz cross-hair generator with type 5 which is the one that expands when you shoot on -11 gap so instead of the cross-hair expanding it actually shrinks in on the target

I like a not too small crosshair with least gap in between, red colour... Saturation 205, i chose red over popular Colors like green, yellow etc... Because it doesn't overshadow the head of model over medium-long to long ranges.. for 1 taps... Many people copied my crosshair maybe by looking me hit those shots pretty easily most of the time...

My crosshair journey is still underway....but I have more or less decided on colour. It started as green then promptly switched to white where it stayed white for the longest time, then I actually used red for quite some time and recently I switched to yellow and I think its perfect.

Im the weird guy who uses a white dot with outline on two pixel thickness. Yes, I play an outlined dead pixel dot. And my high headshot rate speaks for it. Sometimes though my sprays pepper the wall more than my intended target.

@@r0yce in valorant more often than not the shot actually goes where you point it at. CS has a lot more unnecessarily complicated mathematical probability functions (cus source engine) which determine your shot registration, meaning, it sometimes fricks you over, just because the odds weren't quite in your favour. "Getting csgo'd" isn't a term for no reason after all.

I use a crosshair i found out about myself actually, I havent seen it anywhere yet but its rlly awesome. I play the default static crosshair with a crosshairgap of -14/-15/-16 (depends on your preference) it a little similar to S1mple's crosshair but in a weird way, its almost like a kind of star shape with a gap and dot in the middle :D you should REEEALLY give it a try i find it awesome

Well my crosshair color isn't one. In my exec I binded with my weapon and grenade binds diffrent crosshair colors (Knife = white; Primary = red; Secondary = cyan; Grenade = green). I have big Problems with concentrating my eyes very long on one spot that doesn't change, like a crosshair. So the diffrent colors are keeping my eyes interested.

The color depends, all the maps has a colour: like inferno it's kind of blue, so the negative of blue it's yellow, and thats the thing, use the negative colour of the map
