The other miners such as air quality, weather, water quality etc can all be measured and looked at by the user. Pretty neat to measure and look at the data. Hi there! Which country you are in does not matter at all for the fry miners. The nodes does not even have any location or limit to them. So I can even have 10-20 fry nodes in the same place if I would want to. So, it's up to you which one you like /Nordic

Hi there! If you buy the hardware miners from Fry's website they will come with everything included, so you will not need a licence. I don't think there is any instructions on how to use them yet since they have not yet been released. I am speculating though that we will connect them through using a mobile app. They look fairly simple. I believe, if we google on how to setup such a normal device, it will be the exact same setup process, the one difference is that we go through the wallet setup + Fry registration process like we do for all their miners. Since you can have unlimited nodes would it matter which one of the 3 you got? If someone wanted to run lets say 20, would it be beneficial to get the same 1 or a variation of the 3?

That is a great question! For the storage decentralization node and storage validator node I am unsure if there are any advantage of being early with these. We have not been given more info on this matter. The only thing I know is the potential to earn double the amount with the reward nodes if we are lucky to be the distributor of fry tokens that day. Who knows, fry might include some special feature for the other nodes in the future. But that is something we don't know at the current moment. Hi there! I have tried a few of them yes! I would say that both the satellite & decibel miner are the easiest ones. Does not require a lot work at all. The decibel miner does however earn a bit more. Those miners will arrive sooner. Then there are a few of the ones under "unreleased miners" that are a bit cheaper but will earn the same amount. I have although not tried any of those. Then the nodes seems to be earning a whole lot more than the rest of the miners, but they wont be shipped until Q3/Q4. So, it depends on how soon you want your miner/node. Hi there! You are correct, you can dual mine ETCPOW and FRY using the ETCMC Node. The easiest way to dual mine using the node is to get a GNSS usb antenna that you simply put in the node. Then you get the Fry BYOD indoor satellite licence onto the node and run it. I made a video on how to exactly do this a few days ago. Check it out and you will find your answers there! I have no idea about France. Sometimes I need to pay import taxes on packages to Sweden but not always. The free shipping from Fry to Sweden is however a blessing. I have heard of several people looking at VPN solutions but I think that could end up with you being banned trying to use several Fry devices using that approach. The best way is to simply use them as they are intended & the max limit per location

Yes! The minimum requirements for a mini-pc are very low to run the BYOD licences, so it does not need much

Good question! Yes, you can have multiple weather stations as long as they are in different locations! Just make sure, like with all fry miners, that you set them up on different accounts. I use the pera mobile wallet. I can then have just 1 app. And within that app login, I can create multiple accounts. Each account get it's own seed phrase, which is needed for the fry miner setup. But creating several accounts enables me to handle all my fry miners with a single login, which is very flexible and saves me a lot of time.

Hi! To get verified you need to have a fry miner up and running already, either a bought miner or a DIY miner using the licences. On Fry foundation website you go under "Miner resources" or "BYOD resources" and there is a link to "verify your miner". Simply connect your algorand wallet you got the miner on and it will verify

I agree, that device needs some more added information to it. The geiger counter should be measuring radioactivity, which the international unit is Becquerel (Bq), or the Curie (Ci), which is the unit used in the US.

A geiger counter cannot detect all radiation, it has to be calibrated for certain types, like radon, plutonium, etc. im going yo guess its only radon, which can build up in homes and basements and can be fatal. Would i rely on a recycled fry miner to be accurate ? Probably not, i see it as a money making gimmick to be fair

If you use VPNs you can have more than one device at a location I believe because it then creates new IP addresses for each device.

Helo again! I bought 1 Match X miner for MXC with your link and code a year and a half ago or so, It mined at 100% for a long time and I kept everything there. Then They switched apps I think from Data Dash over to something else. I never did the conversion yet, I think it AXS or something? Hi, great question! The swap From Datadash to AXS happened a long time ago. However there have been multiple issues due to it. One being that the MXC got automatically swapped to xMXC that have only half or 1/4 or the value. So everyone who transfered got their entire MXC value halved or even more. So you might actually have, unintentionally, done the correct decision now looking at it in hindsight. I would recomment going to MXC's Telegram or Discord were they have a bunch of resources on how to go from here with an old Datadash account. Hope it helped & best of luck

Hi @VIRGILSHELTONII I am not sure regarding the second hand market of these nodes. Buying a dedicated ETCMC Node, that have come from ETCMC themselves, you do not need a licence to run it since it's already pre-installed. If the seller say's that you need to get a licence for it to work, then the seller is simply selling you a mini-computer without any thing on it that have to do with ETCMC

Simply go to Fry's website and click "verify". You find that button under "Hardware miner resources". The verifying will go though in october 2024 but we can all verify our miners now already, and those who have a verified miner will be eligible for their fry airdrop

This is definitely the fastest ROI in the entire crypto market right now. However, the nodes are first delivered Q3/Q4 so anything can happen until then. However, I have been mining using Fry's miners for almost a year (april this year marks one full year for me) and so far they have done a great job on all fronts. Can very well see them keeping up a stable track record until then and beyond.

As you can see on the nodes right now, and as I mentioned in the video, they are in "pre-order" right now. And the nodes wont begin being sent out until quarter 3 or quarter 4 this year. So it will be some time before users get the nodes. But that is also the entire reason behind the nodes only costing $500 now. In 5 months (Q3) the nodes will cost $1000 each. Now the price is back below 1 cent again, but I guess they have not had the chance to update the page yet. Hi, is it a DIY satellite miner through the Fry BYOD licence you are using? Verifying our miners will lead to higher fry rewards once fry launches their mainnet. Make sure you are conecting the correct wallet to the verify site. If it is not working, try using another webbrowser and import your algorand wallet there. Let me know how it went

I think it could be one of two things, or a mix. Either the development of the node is still in trial or that Fry foundation is still gathering items/prepping for the Node launch. I remember last year when a lot of people ordered from them and due to that, the miners needed to be sent out in later batches. So it might be that Fry Foundation are trying to have a smoother year in terms of orders/fulfillment. Just my best guess.

Great question Mike! For the miners in the Fry shop you do not need any additional licence or anything, it comes plug & play so to say. And the node would make 1294.32 Fry per day if it was released today and verified (this verification will go live in october 2024 which is likely before we get our hands on the nodes & why I use this earning amount here below). 0.01706*1294.32= $22 per day. Non verified nodes would have earned up until the verification in october (0.01706*431.44)*1.5 = $11.04 per day. Non verified nodes after the verification in october will earn 0.01706*431.44 = $7.3 per day. These are according to the current $FRY price. The $Fry price can increase 10x or decrease 10x until we get the nodes, nobody knows

Did you just setup and register your miner? There are a lot of people that try to register their miner directly after setting it up, which does not work. The registrering process can take from 2-7 days. After that the verifying should work. It will work sooner or later. /Nordic

You can check out "DePIN" and what that means. Imagine that different industries such as research, real estates, governmental planing. etc could all go to the same website and get an overview of the current radioactive status across a certain city due to people themselves are measuring it. And that is just the geiger counter. All the other data the other miners collect are perhaps more relevant, idk. But collecting these data can be very valuable for a lot of companies out there that could not be collected otherwise
