Here’s the question. At 11:07 Some people don’t run t5 at the open field. So what type of tech should I go for here if I don’t have t5 and instead run t4?

Never attack Kahars directly, they cost 190 ap I believe. Instead, wait for your castle to have barbarians on all sides, then spawn Kahars (as many as you would like to kill), and start a chain by attacking one of the barbarians (then aggroing the Kahars with your AoE). You can kill a ton of Kahars using just the initial cost of 70 (or 80) ap for that first attack on a barb.

"Save up" the bastion quests that give Kahar's bones (fort attacks, troops training). 1. For the forts, what you can do pop one such quest as your last, 15th quest of the day, then do the one daily fort attack. After reset, do another fort first thing after logging in. Voila - you did your obligatory daily forts two days in a row, and possibly (if you have lvl 12 forts unlocked) finished the bastion quest. (If you are in the beginning of your KvK and only have lvl 11 forts, you will have to do one more fort just to finish that bastion quest - no so bad, a full quest with Kahar's bone for the "price" of just 290 extra ap.) 2. When an even comes around that requires you to destroy many forts - that's when you go and finish all the remaining fort bastion quests you saved up. Hunt for History is one such event, you should keep track of when it comes to your kd (every 4 weeks). 3. Similarly, the "get 110k points from training troops" quest - you finish one of them per day. Namely, you train 2k t4 troops in every building, and before collecting, activate the quest. by collecting the 8k t4 troops, you get 80k points towards your bastion quest - now you only need to train (and probably speed up?) 3k more t4 troops. That should cost you 1.5 days worth of speeds. 4. Once a troop training event comes around (every Sunday/Monday right after the MGE, every Friday/Saturday before the MGE, or Ready to Attack/Overwhelming Strength on a We/Thu on a non-MGE-week) - activate a troops training bastion quest before speeding up and collecting troops. 5. Otherwise, I am always trying to skip quests that give few crystals, and only do the ones like kill barbs/kill Kahars/collect runes etc., until a fort or a troop building quest comes. Don't donate rss/mats, don't donate to alliance research.

To make sure you have enough bastion quests (and can collect more and more crystals) at the end of your KvK, I prefer to not invest into the research that increases the hearts you get from finishing bastion quests, for as long as possible. Sounds kinda counter-intuitive, but hear me out: what if your camp loses the war? What happens when you are locked into your z4 and have no access to bastions outside your starting zone? You want to have the option to still do the quests for as long as possible - and for that, it might be clever to not progress those bastions too quickly ;)

This will make it much easier to come back. I’ve basically decided I got one big kvk in me upon my return. Once I move to a new kingdom I think it’d be cool to try competing and spending on tech for a season. The simulators you use really are great man, excellent and informative video!

Love this video. Thank you so much :). The timing of Karuak challenges is terrible for ftp. Hell level and subsequent levels are so late it really hinders crystal tech progression for ftp. This should be one of the highest priorities for Lilith to change to improve kvk

Few comments: 1. An extra march means you have one full march that can do whatever it is you are usually doing in KvK. I am usually using 2-3 armies to chain when I'm online, and the rest of my marches are gathering gems. So, if you can log in to the game 15 times a day, once per hour, and send one more march to gather gems - it's already a bit over 450 gems per day! If you get the chance to unlock the 6th march 10 days before the end of the KvK - that's additional 4.5k gems. You decide whether f2p/low spender need this. (Also, there are other situations where you profit from a 6th march. The two that jump to my mind are Kau Karuak and the "kill many barbs in 9 minutes" event, where you need to finish in top10 for gh rewards.) 2. Gaining 100k troop power in one week is trivial. Even if you are never using any speedups, and building only t4 - it takes one day to build 2k troops in one building, that's 32k power/day in all 4 buildings, or 224k power/week. (This fugure jumps to over 50k power/day if you are building t5 straight.)

Just a little tip, if you bring your Research center to level 12 (must have to max the Skillful Op) you’ll save even more crystals because of cheaper research

Thx for this video topic. My main is trying that pioneer kvk. Where we get the added skills from those favor tower's, and we can send marches to an outpost and those troops R4, r5 can use my troops in rally or garrison. I won't spend any money for this kvk since it's a pioneer kvk, and I'm about to go in kvk's KD soon. If that works like I am promised... 😢(Little worried tbf). Now I do that because my current KD is dying of, also 1 kvk without crystal tech would help my wallet. Primary reason is that I can collect all gh's from kvk2-pre kvk3 season. And to those I will spend money so I get my inventory more full of speed ups, RSS tokens, etc.

Hey man ! Love the video massive fan here and super grateful for you ! Quick question i'm a few days in kvk 3 and the cav wheel just came out. When the inf wheel comes out, do I get Liu Che to 5551 and not get Scipio? Or Scipio and Liu to 5511 each ? I'm a f2p so I have about 480 GH

Depends on if you have anything to pair with LC instead such as Alex. If not, I'd get both to 5511 and then focus on maxing LC first.

Just a small idea of mine, a Video idea to go over the Academy research 1 by 1 and give the most efficient order to upgrade there for F2P and Low spenders so they know what to focus on, I just restarted recently and I have found that a lot of people come up with the question what to aim for in research and when to take wich path, etc. so maybe a video on that matter can help a lot of new comers! ps great video!

True, and if you don't even have a Z5 battle then that's definitely a good way to go. But it's also pointless to have a bunch of crystals saved up after KL too

It’s required anyway so it doesn’t make much of a difference, you can do it that way too if you want as long as you have enough to get war tech before pass 5 :)
