I love the mustang GT PP1, I almost pulled the trigger on one last year but went with the 2019 Bullitt instead, specs for specs I felt the PP1 and Bullitt are almost identical except the for extra 20 HP on the Bullitt. Wish I could own both

Nice, congrats! I have the Ford Performance calibration kit installed, which puts the PP1 virtually at the same HP as the Bullitt, and slightly more torque.

I have a 2020 black 5.0 premium with the “Tacky” chrome emblems. 🤷🏽‍♂️😂 No brembo brakes & doesn’t have these rims though. Has the black & silver 5 star rims. Still has all exhaust modes & drive modes. Has leather seats, 8 per much touch screen. I had a 2018 Camaro 2SS. But i switched over I love this car, it’s stock, it’s great, it’s fast, it’s comfy, it’s the most well built engine for a American V8! I mean cmon 4 valves per liter. & engine self cleans Itself while injecting that fuel! And from 60-130 mph not much can touch it. 😮🤷🏽‍♂️👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽🥂 P.S gas mileage, huh? It’s called SMILES PER GALLON! 🤷🏽‍♂️👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽❤️

Why did you get it in automatic? that's like buying a hellcat then taking off the 6.2l and putting a 2.4l in it. Manual with rev-matching is the only reasons making this car comparable with other muscle cars.

I have an 18 gt pp1. Trust me when I tell you ford racing springs transforms the car. There worth the $400 bucks if you can install them your self or get them installed by Ford

I was considering the Ebony Stripe, but I didn't like the way the factory left such big gaps in between each sections of the stripe. I'm thinking about getting aftermarket gloss black super snake stripes, but we'll see. The velocity blue is such a nice color, I kinda don't want to mess with it by putting on stripes.

Would you recommend the performance pack 1 even if you are just doing daily street driving? Or more for track use?

The performance package 1 has items that are very useful for daily driving including the awesome Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires and wider wheels that give me tons of confidence when driving spiritedly and is crucial in putting the power down on the road, the rear suspension upgrades also inspire confidence in handling, the brembo brakes are strong; when you drive fast you need to be able to stop fast as well lol. The 3.55 gear ratio if you're getting the automatic is nice; the car will feel more torquey than if you have the 3.15 that comes standard. The only downside to getting the PP1 is that you'll have to get an aftermarket spare tire because unless Ford has made one that can fit over the brembo brakes, the only one they offer is for the non performance pack versions. Overall I'm very happy with getting the PP1 and have no regrets, but at the time I bought my car it was only around $3400 for the PP1, now it's around $5200. I guess it's more of an investment to think about.

@@JDubTwins Thank you for the input! Yeah, they raised the price on it. I think it is a great package, but I may opt out. I can always do some upgrades myself later and in pieces too. Nice car...I plan on getting grabber lime to stand out. Definitely getting a nice racing stripe with the activate exhaust. Still thinking about other things I want as well.

@@itzmcgin consider getting the racing stripe aftermarket as well. The one I've seen from the factory have been slightly crooked and with too much space in between the end of one stripe and the start of the next. I think it would be executed better by an aftermarket installer and plus you wouldn't pay interest on it.

If you are going to do HPDE/Open track the performance package is a must, if you are just heading to the drag strip it is a waste of money go with the base GT. save your money for HP upgrades. BTW very few car guys do HPDE but lots do the drag strip thing. Cheaper and easier to learn.

I haven't driven the car in snow yet, however, I used to own a 2016 mustang ecoboost and I drove that in the snow before, and it wasn't too bad. I had all season tires on it and I was able to get around fine for the most part. As long as you don't floor it while driving in snow I think you'll be fine lol. It might help to put bags of rice in the trunk to help get my traction. Also the car comes with a rain/snow drive mode. It pretty much cuts the power down and makes the throttle less sensitive.

I'd imagine so. I have 20x11 wheels in the rear with 305 tires and have had no issues. Unless you're asking if 295s or 305s will fit on 19x9.5 wheels, then I'm not sure.

awesome vid. I just ordered the velocity blue one... But gonna put silver/chrome wheels. So blue and chrome theme. hopefully chrome badges wont look tacky with that wheel combination, also ordered white stripes. Didnt know about custom stitching.. Dealer didnt even mention it, but I am in Australia, maybe not an option.... :S

I think the silver/chrome wheels would help pull it all together for the blue/chrome theme. Yeah, I believe the accent stitching is available if you get the Mustang GT Premium. I've never driven a Bullitt, but I'd imagine it might be a slightly different experience with the Bullitt's unique exhaust and engine tuning giving it it's extra +20 HP.

Yes, but I believe the Bullitt has the GT350 intake manifold, bigger 87mm throttle body, and unique engine tuning to give it that extra 20 HP over the GT.
