FYI everyone, B.A.P. (minus zelo who is currently in the military) just made a comeback after a REALLY long time!! They had to promote under their real names because their old company has the rights to their name but the fans still call them B.A.P. That company was horrible to them. Check out Gone by Bang&Jung&Yoo&Moon. Their new EP Curtain Call is really good and it seems like they're planning on releasing more music when Zelo returns. Their choreography is always so cool and their vocals are stunning. Loved this video!

Dionysus by BTS is one of my favorite dance choreo of BTS however, they stopped/changed that part wherein they're supposed to fall down into a sitting position instead because of Yoongi's shoulder injury.. still great choreo though. 😊

I just can’t agree w/BP’s Gun move)?! Just awful. Any rookie dance group can do those moves in synch. There are so many better examples. Now, Seventeen is impressive, and MANY of their best choreos could easily replace BP!! Then two groups (boy and girl idols)-they just moved their hips in synch at the start-should have been excluded because it’s really boring. THERE ARE so many impressive dance moves, e.g., I luv Twice “TT”; and A-Pink, both are so much more impressive than BP (in my opinion as a former dancer).

I know I'm not the only one, but i didn't know kpop existed back when B.A.P., Big Bang, 2PM, and Shinee were the biggest and most popular artists (they still sort of are but i mean back in like 2012) but when i got in to kpop in 2018 with Stray Kids, i went back and made sure i listed to the most iconic groups from before them; i wanted to know what inspired them and be able to understand whenever other fans would talk about iconic performances or their favourite groups. As a former gymnast and ballerina, most of the choreography was easy. The hardest parts were with comprehensive hand and/or foot movements. The big acrobatic moves and jumps are definitely tricky and require perfect timing. A great video, and as always, I love Ben’s reactions!

Best doesn’t just mean how hard though 😅. There’s a famous compilation of hardest kpop dances already out there. It’s compiling the most innovative and clever “hook” dances that have a legacy. A great dance doesn’t have to be hard. Technically Move is easy to do but to execute perfectly is very difficult isolation I don’t think his backup dancers even pulled off aside from the choreographer herself! Dance art that focuses on hand movements is called tutting and it's a WHOLE thing. There are some seriously complicated crazy performers of it out there. Visually speaking, I think the coolest one is the wheel in K.O. by SF9 Some of the hardest moves look deceptively simple. Taemin is a master at this. It is so hard to control your body enough to make a subtle movement look smooth.
