For a big guy, Nash was just sick. there are a couple more they could have added with him...amazing skill level and I only really got to watch him here and there. As a Wings fan though - Datsyuk was like watching Barry Sanders: Literally every time he touched the puck you expected something amazing to happen. We were blessed to have those two in our sports history.

Datsyuk was a different breed of player. He made hockey look effortless. He's by far the best player I've seen with my own 2 eyes. He could do it all. Back check? Yes. Fore check? Yes. Dangle through an entire team and make the goalie look like a Sunday league keeper? Yes. One of the scariest sights for a keeper was seeing their defender go behind the net with the puck with Datsyuk close behind and not seeing their defender come out on the other side of the net. You just knew that was hockey suicide cause nobody could pick a defender's pocket like him.
