Dark rides have always been a popular attraction ever since they came out. Now a days, its hard to find dark rides still operating from the olden days. The ones that operate today are either created with state of the art special effects or have been revamped to give it a completely different look. One park still keeps the original tradition going with their dark ride, and that park is Knoebels. Inside Knoebels Haunted Mansion, you wont find targets to shoot act, cgi or other special effects. You'll find classic scares and props from older parks and some custom creations made on set at Knoebels. Man that was awesome. I worked in a extreme haunt for 10 years. I love haunts and I really like the old school haunts like this. I love that lighting that only leaves a glimpse of the scene. Like a dream. It burns that image in. So cool!

Going back 40-45 years, every year, we all loaded in my Dads station wagon and headed to Knoebels for the Wise Potato Chips company picnic. The haunted house was first and last ride every time! Thanks for sharing. Some of the ghouls are the same since that time. They're still good for a scare!

I've carefully documentment everything for a long time, saved all the paperwork, have pictures she knows nothing about, have a water sample that you wouldn't believe. She gives no rent recites THAT ALONE is a FEDERAL OFFENCE which can lead to a 25 yr Fed jail sentence. ALSO others in my building will be taking her to court at the same time. The judge can order that the manager's buddy has to give up 3 very thick folders of complaints aginst my apt building that she just keeps hidden in her file draw. If after all we show in court if somehow she 'gets off' I'll at least have my rent put in escrow. She must have tic-ed someone off because she always has her office door locked, the shades pulled down, she has 3 cars and hasn't been parking in her manager space much. Is that odd or what?! Where'd she get the money for 3 cars? Oh yeah, from ripping tennents off😲 Only time will tell what will happen, at least it's worth a dang good try. She put me through 3 assessments last year and 4th time this year!!! The last one I asked for help from my Salvation Army church pastor. I had all the paper work and he checked it out all he had to do was get 6 bank statements which he did (that I had to pay for AGAIN). A few days go by & head manager hands me a big folder, states I don't have the 'right paperwork'! I open the folder and find stuff DATED from last year with 12 bank statements 😨 You can't make this stuff up!!! When I told my pastor who is a Major in the Salvation Army he was dumb-founded. Ahhh yeah, this is what she pulls. THEN she threatened the normal I'll throw you into the streets, take all your money.... I looked at her and told her she'll HAVE to 'chill' and wait for yet for the stuff to come in for a 4th time and it better be the last time. I said that in front of ALOT of tennents getting their mail. She chilled. That's just the tip of the ice burg. So yeah, enough is enough. Time to go to court. Can't wait to see the judge's face as the manager explains why the common bath rooms downstairs is locked to the tennents and only SHE can use them!!! This should be interesting. Good or bad I will share the out come. Take care !!! 💖 👻🤘

If she & buddy are not put in jail or at least fired then I'll have my rent put in escrow till everything is fixed !!! In 7 yrs they've barely fixed a lightswitch (it's messed up again from not being fixed right) AND I had to go through the Fire Department to barely get the switch fixed!!! The apt building got fined for that. I've got my paperwork and pictures of black molds and white molds, that's just starters and a big jar of water that needs to be tested FROM MY BATH TUB TAP. 😨 When we (me & other tennents she's also been ripping off) go to court I will share it, good or bad outcome. If nothing else, at least we would have tried to stand up for ourselves. STAY SAFE !!! 👻🤘💖

Yes! I along waited for this video to come out one thing I probably noticed was the truck horn was louder then it this before I did notice that the oven monster and the hippo are ones with air they probably turned that off because of sanitary reason (which I understand) but over all great video!

Great vlog. Prefer less buzzes so that when it does ring it would add to the jump scare. Liked the witch laugh and the tribe guy at the end. Friendly suggestion to tuck masks over nose to avoid particles being breathed in from above.

Pretty awesome ride Jay! You would love a haunted house I used to work at as one of their actors... It's actually much more than your typical haunted house... It's indoors it's outdoors it's trails, it's like tunnels you feel like you're in a mine at times, it's through containers, and old trailers, buses, barnes fields, it takes about 45 minutes just to walk through, if you survive that is... One heck of a crazy place, Torment at Twelve Hundred Orion, Illinois, and if you go to their Facebook page, I'm sure you can find several scary videos they put out every year, to go with the theme...

@@JPVideos81 In the timber on the trails, I was a 6ft tall something scary rabbit, as well as a big hairy gorilla, they nicknamed me harambe.... Gorilla suit my own personal costume, I was a crazy person in one of the tunnels, I was a big scary warthog looking creature of a butcher in a meat locker, and they have a class they offer every four years at a local Junior College that is just for fun or something and it's like a class dealing with surviving a zombie apocalypse or something so silly I can't believe they offer it at a college Blackhawks University... Well they send all the college kids out there, at the end of their course and we all play zombies and hunt them that was a lot of fun... BRAINS!!!🧟‍♂️ 🤔 humm... I wonder if I should be listing this job on my resume, LOL 🤪

This is a cool ride... Back in the day at Euclid Beach Park we had a ride like it called Laugh in the Dark. the park was in Cleveland , Ohio. I loved this park...some great memories.

I remember way back the first time I went in it the total darkness was the part that was so scary. Probably from tinting the outside windows. I though it wouldn’t be scary ride cause you would see people come out the exit with a smile on there face and then realize it was cause they have water dripping down and turned it off just as you were exiting people were smiling cause they didn’t get wet as they exited
