@@magzoVFX Yes. Multiple time frames gives you the bigger picture. Intraday you may have a uptrend however on the daily it may be a serious downtrend. I would rather be short bias and look for the most ideal level to be short at and have price action dictate whether my thesis is correct. Watch time and sales when the spread opens up and at a key level, if people buying on the ask slows down and you see people hitting the bid, typically you are in a good spot. Great risk to reward because you will know right away. I use 9 ema for mean reversion, look to take profits when the stock is at extremes from the 9ema.

I'm use BOLL and MA + EMA(5, 10, 20, 60) and degree of theirs binding , and line's slope, angle and more. I will use python to do quantitative calculation.

Volume, default RSI, default MACD, 20MA (yellow dots), 20EMA (blue line) in conjunction with marked support and resistance lines. I find the 20MA and 20EMA cross over to be fairly on point in indicating a change in direction.

Of what I can see RSI, Stoch and MACD pretty much show the same thing. Just depends on the settings. You can get a MACD to show pretty much the same curves as a Stoch. There is a setting for every one of them that will make them show roughly the same thing. Or MACD on one time frame pretty much correlates with the swings on the Stoch on another time frame. Or you change the length of the Stoch and now Stoch D shows the same as StochK on a higher time frame or longer setting. In the end I dont think it matters that much which one you choose. Choose one and then adjust the settings untill it fits the swings in the market youre after.

Shay, for my trading (scalping) I use the MACD with the default settings, and the EMA with the setting length at 15. I trade primarily GBP/USD on the one minute chart. I only trade when there is a MACD cross, and at the same time the corresponding candle crosses the EMA. When that candle closes, and the next candle surpasses the previous candles high or low depending on whether the trend is going long or short I will take the trade. I only trade during the premarket to the London close. Once I hit my target I shut down trading for the day. Most of the time I will hit my target in the premarket. If I take a loss most of the time I'm able to recoup the losses before the London session closes. If there are no more good setups before the London session closes I will take the loss for the day. Indicators are super powerful dont get me wrong but what made me a successful trader was, limiting your risk (cutting losses fast) and hanging onto winning trades which is KEY to being a profitable trader. There should be 4 outcomes of your trades: Big Win, Small Win, Breakeven, and SMALL Loss. Something I preach on my channel. Good luck traders!

From what I've always seen, the MACD indicator doesn't do a thing until the price has already moved. Therefore, it's not an indicator, but reactionary. Even in your examples, the crossover doesn't occur until stocks are in freefall on the way down. How exactly is that useful?

It is what is called a lagging indicator. You can adjust the time frames to better capture the moves - it will still be slow . It is basically just used for scalping - you can see a trend form on the cross over and get in and out on a rip quick.

Indicators are mostly useless. HFT algos use them against you and market makers see retail order flow stacking around these areas.

You missed some key stuff sadly and I'm very surprised. When it comes to day trading you need a filter for when to go long or when to short, for me its that 200ema. Using a filter will eliminate false entrys depending on which side of the the moving average price is currently trading at. Using the moving average along side the RSI or MACD will greatly increase your Win rate %. Just something worth pointing out.

I think end of the day, support and resistance is king. Enter trade on strong support and resistance and cut loss fast if it breaches. The rest works but can give alot of false signals.

Indicators are just different ways of interpreting the same data. They will never be as powerful as your intuitive ability to determine the trend, spot breakouts, gauge market sentiment. That said they can offer confirmation or negate your thoughts as to what's gonna happen. I always have Bollinger Bands on, stoch RSI, and Visible Range Volume Profile. Good combo. I like Ichimoku clouds too, but usually take off the Bollinger Bands with that on.

Shay, I use more filters to confirm the conducive EP for Intra Day. I call it "7 Pirates of Caribbean" They consist of: 1. MacD 2. Fibo retrace line for Break Out 3. RSI 4. Volume 5. 2 White soldiers (candlesticks) to confirm reversal 6. Vwap 7. Bollinger Band It's more of rebound play of Daily Top Gainers.

YTD Anchored VWAP and Average True Range. I use ATR to provide a framework for price action helps for measuring target and stops. YTD Anchored VWAP I use like you use VWAP for day trading but I use it for swing trading.

Enjoy, and try to make sure it's a variety of site and facilities groups inspections.. inspecting the same things, just different facilities and have a lower rank person female go back and make sure it's legit and functioning and not being pulled from one place and going to another.. as far as areas inspected and such.. we know how sneaky they want to and can be some times...
