I’m rocking turn 5 nagrand slam kelthas quest hunter right now and I’m lovin’ it. Out of 10 games trying it out last night I only pulled off the combo once but still won all but 2 of the other games. Very satisfying blend of drawing cards with quest friendlies and diving gryphon/apex/spear rush side quest package is v satisfying. Gl to all ty Regis for another 10/10 quality video :)

The way you described Galakrond Priest actually reminded me a lot of how Delver works in magic the gathering or a slightly less aggressive version of the tempo mage from the witchwood/boomsday meta before the mana wyrm nerf

Im surprised that gala secret rogue isnt on the list. I got to diamond 7 in less than 2 days with it and with 65% winrate, very strong and fun deck to play although a little expensive (10k) but i would say its worth it

Jake Just go on Hearthstone replay and look up Dragon Hunter. Deck is very cheap the only legendary is Zixor and he isn’t that important if you dont have him. Deck is centred around scavengers ingenuity buffing Phase Stalker and going off w pack tactics+freezing trap. Rotnest Drake is also one of the most broken cards in the entire game, it has single handedly won me at least 20% of those games. But the best card by far is Storm Hammer. I have Evasive Feywing and Farie Dragon as good sticky dragons. As well as Big Ol Whelp and Rotnest. Being able to consistently do 3 damage a turn to your opponents face without losing durability is insanely strong. Especially when you couple it with your hero power to do 5 a turn as a hunter

If i now meet a tempo demon hunter or face hunter i blame it on you! :) Sometimes i just concede if it's the third demon hunter in a row.. The priest demonstrates the problem of free to play: Have only 3 of the 6 legendaries, and the missing ones are rather specific and nothing i would craft. The more budget decks are often the ones i hate (like the demon hunter..). The Shaman deck might amend the problem though, thx!!! :D Btw, always fun to watch your videos!

I could tell when I played a highlander version and I actually didn't want Zeph or Alex in my hand so i could trigger outcast effects. Imagine dumping zeph just to play skull because it is just that good. Blizz, plz make lay on hands 6 mana, pally could really use some card draw

I hated Dh after day one I was leaving any match that had a Dh in it i refused to play it or against it but now I dont find them that bad yes there strong but so are a few other classes I have more trouble with the dam priests and some warriors also druids and shamans can take you out real quick Lib/book pala isn't to shabby either playing hunter I dont worry to much as i seem to win more than i lose against Dh that said i can only dream of making legendary

,honestly ive been playing Galakrond Priest since last season its been a super underrated deck ......Galakrond Zoolock with the Matron package is strong , also a few off meta decks im doing good with are 1. Big Demon Control Demon Hunter , Murloc shaman , Tempo Priest and finally Bomb warrior has been CRUSHING those pesky highlander deck and with cards like COrsairs Cache and the Newer pirate that is 4 mana battlecry "equip a weapon that you equipped this game " really lets you swing so many time on the enemys face with the Bomb Weapon that its kind of redic …. IMO the best sleeper op deck is bomb warrior

Hunter is a tough one, especially the face hunter, I think I didn’t win a single game against Face hunter and Highladner feels like pretty unfoverable too.

My tempo DH doesn’t run spectral sight. Instead I have an extra glaivebound and an ooze as tech card (very useful vs hunters and also helps in the mirror) I kept my win streak from silver all the way to plat 4. Can’t wait to try the evolve shaman though, I faced a couple of those and it’s pretty good. The fact that the 2/1 rush summons are actually 2 drops is insane.

It makes me sad to see so many classes are not viable right now. Aggro is so strong that many simply don’t have the tools to survive at the moment. I understand that the rotation and the changes made before the expansion were meant to curb control decks in order to speed the game up but I’m hoping that the next few expansions give some more synergy cards that allow a more vibrant meta than just play aggro or priest that we have right now.

ZomZombos nothing wrong with the aggro meta, I’m not mad these things come and go. It just means I play less until the next expansion releases some ridiculous control tools and slows the game back down.

Aaron Cusick both Murloc Paladin and totem shaman both have that aggro thing in common. While totem shaman isn’t a true aggro deck it still aims to end the game as early as possible by turning early game totems into turn 4 threats. I’m more of a midrange control player so it’s just not my meta. But it is what it is. I knew from their pre expansion announcements they were taking the game in a new direction which they have done before and that means aggro is out of control until the next expansion drops the control tools. I’ve been playing since the games release and I plan to continue. If this game has taught me anything, it’s patience.

Been playing with a few different Face Hunter decks and I gotta say, I've had a low winrate out of 20 games with these. Unlike my Face Demon Hunter deck, which climbed up to D3 last season super simple, I don't get how these Face Hunter decks are supposed to climb. They seem to rely a lot more on RNG compared to DH, and not getting the quest right away really, really makes it a poor choice.

Demon Hinter has some weaknesses too, for example even tough he has a lot of card draw, Illidan hasn't got any card generation, so he has almost always resources in hand, but when he runs out of fuel, he can no longer keep up. Second weakness is big minions. Demon Hunters does not have any single-minion removals except of Coilfang Warlord(i think this is that card called, but not sure), but nobody except highlanders run it. They have some AoE spells, but tempo Demon Hunter does not run them, tge same is for silence. So when you are up against tempo Demon Hunters, just control the board, place some big threads or develop wide boards, that's why Ressurect Priest and Spell Druid have quite good matchup against tempo DH. And for me personally, priest is much more annoying to play against than DH. So don't lose hope, you CAN win against Demon Hunters(best are AoEs and you may even noticed, that a lot of DH stuff has 2 health).

I've been climbing with Dragon Warriorkrond. Idk what standard lists are cause I'm fairly new (bout to hit Gold 10 after a couple of days) but it's been working pretty well with Mad Aspect and Evasive Draconid eating flyfish/galakrond buffs. 7 mana 11/11 ward no target is actually pretty gross apparently.

Mindflayer isnt necessary, he can be replaced with Natalie if you have her, or if you're looking for more budget than Time Rip (Hard removal replacement) Morozund is good but he's not a must have, honesty he can be replaced with Skeletal Dragon or regular Alexstraza if you need to sub a dragon. Soul Mirror is a hard mass removal, so you can add an extra Plague of Death or Shadow Word: Ruin

Here's a demon hunter deck I've been having fun working on. I took the standard tempo DH deck and reworked it to have the "token package" in it. Tokens + Wrathscale can clear a board and do lots of damage in the process all the while you're powering up your Nethrandamus for a big swing play.
