DoorDash driver here. There was a time when I was delivering to a rural home and I was LAID OUT by two Great Pyrenees and I know for a fact that the house has a RING. Some vans and Sprinters (larger vans that are rounder in shape) *can* have A/C and good insulation, but if you have a box truck you have a fan with dubious A/C that *might* work, keyword might. The box trucks are also not well insulated, so there's only so much the A/C can do.

Under-paying employees and guilting paying customers into making up for it is a mistake that never should have started. I tip what I can afford, and as much as I appreciate the work done for me, I resent that I'm paying extra because their employer isn't paying them enough. Also, how does he know the person ordering the food owns that house? They could be a house-sitter, or a guest, for all he knows.

We need to end tipping here. It is destroying us. They will get immature and put bodily fluids into your food here even if you tipped if not good enough. I had UberEats deliver food, place it on the front porch and take a photo, and then 1 minute later the same guy comes back (with a different hat) and takes the food. He did not realize there was a camera there (it's easy to miss it). Called UberEats and complained, got a refund on the food but they said "We will make sure he does not deliver to you address". How about you fire him for theft! Stopped using UberEats for a long time after that.
