Greg - what weight jig? I usually start w 1/2 oz on the Delta but seem to get more bites on 3/8. Also surprised you were using a football jig (living rubber). You assemble your own?

For sure! Jig rod is discontinued but one that would be similar is the one I posted in the desrciption 7'6'' MH and my rod for the wade hogs is a IROD Paul Bailey SWIM rod. I throw all my big stuff on this rod and it works great!
