You can open account with discount broker, then transfer shares to your new account. Other option is to sell shares from old account and buy same shares in new account.

I am using zerodh account from last 8 month .... previously it was good but now they opened lakhs of account and now their platform lagging so much... recently I had placed BTST order ..but their platform crashed at 9.15 onwards and resumed at 9.21...i have to book mild loss...in just 6 minutes rally sold out ...stock corrected miserably...their tech support told we have technical glicthe we will sort out...they trap retail trader and give mileage to big players
