JayzBeerz sorry to bother you, but next week I'll do my shopping and this car in my area is going for 20k for the 2.4 and 24 for the 2.0 turbo. my question how is it? reliable? Road noise, power, is it too low to the ground that you hit speed bumps? a lot of soft touch places?

David Zavala I have owned this car now for 12 months and very happy with it. The 2.4 Liter engine has plenty of power and very smooth. I did just have the check engine light come on and the VCM (Vacuum Control Module) had to be replaced at 12,000 miles under warranty. The car is average height and I don't come in contact with any speed bumps. The 17 inch tires run smooth and quiet.

I think the 2016 model is better than 2017. as it comes with Xenons. I'm in the market for a new car and this one it comes for $23,800k in San Diego. I heard is slow and that the base 2.4 is as fast as this one. now being turbo how does it responds to hills and elevation and off the line take off.

I would have bought the 2016. I think it's better as well. I wouldn't get the $9500 in discounts and rebates though that I did with a brand new 2017. So that sealed it for me.

Shane Fuoco I end up buying 2 cars. A Sonata and a Elentra, both 2017 brand new from same dealer same day (feels good and people went like, waow 2 cars at once). For the Sonata I bought the 2.4L Sport with the value package. Out the door it was $25,005.00. I like it, it has a lot of space both in the front and the back. my rear facing child car seat works well behind me and I'm 6'1 and with the seat so the way back. There's 2 things I don't like and one of them is Hyundias fault and the other it's just a personal taste. one is the fuel economy sucks, I already put a little over 4k miles and I'm been getting and average of 21 mpg. one time I even got 18. That's with 90% city, but still, it's bad from the projected 25mpg city and I drive slow and use ECO mode. The engine seems to have a sort of small droning sound and I tested 3 sonatas 2.4 and the all had it. The optima was better. It came with all leather, it's noticible more quiet. Also it's too low to the ground and I scratch the bottom every time is loaded with people, not the cars fault, but I'm more of a off-road guy and SUV are my thing, but we needed 2 cars and if I had gone with the Tucson it would be too expensive. if you got more questions I'll be more than happy. sorry for my grammar, using a very small phone (s7) and no auto correction.

Jaemarlee Goin I slight growl is heard but it's not bad for being a sport model. I change the oil every 4k.
