Hello Urban Forex. Really learnt a lot from your videos on divergence. I like how u explained how appearance of a divergence "signals that things are about to change soon, and not it being a greenlight to immediately enter". That part I got, and with the rubber man I easily know when to enter. HOWEVER my problem now is "When divergence fails and takes me out". I am struggling to know which divergences I should avoid...please kindly share a video on what to look for inorder to know the kind of divergences to avoid. U partly touched about it in this video, mentioning something about momentum...I didn't quite understand it because you really just ran through it never explained it fully.

Divergence shouldn't be used on its own to find trades. There must still be a good understanding of the price action on the chart along with the overall story. Divergence can then be used as additional confirmation. Navin goes over how to read the price action on the charts in the courses we provide. in order to use this divrg thing more precisely, i think we must know the differnce between trending currecny, and quick volaltile currency like major pairs(As they go overbought/oversold much faster)...as this is also the imp step, bcse the more volatile currencies puzzle much more while looking diverg than in trending currency..

They wouldn't be able to occur at the same point on the chart as they are two different types of divergence. However, you can get both types occur at different points in time on the same chart.

Correct. But for people who want to use them, this is how to apply them correctly. Indicators can never be used without proper knowledge of price action. By themselves they are not useful at all. So once you realize that, you may think - like us - what's the point of using them if I need to know price action anyway, we can just trade with price action alone and get rid of the indicators :)
