I’m so glad I found your video. I’ve recently ordered a new harness for my dog, similar to this one, that has a front clip for the lead. He pulls a lot and from what you have said about this harness the anti-pull harness front clip is good, which will save me a lot of wrist and arm pain.

@@NewEnglandPrepping my dog is a collie cross lab. He is medium sized but very strong. I feel like one of the reasons he pulls so much is because his previous owners didn’t walk him and kept him in a cage so he just gets over excited, I am working on leash training him. His name is rocky and he is around 2 years old.

@@NewEnglandPrepping I have sprinted with him a couple of times, however, I can’t let him of the leash due to where I live with there being a lot of roads and other dogs who are not friendly. I keep him on the leash at all times but would really like to at some point have him trained well enough to have him off the leash knowing he will staying with me and can have a nice run around!

@@NewEnglandPrepping I love Maxine’s breed! A lot of the people around my area own German shepherds and although I love them and grew up with German shepherds, they can be very territorial and protective and unfortunately Rocky isn’t an aggressive dog so he just wants to play but they don’t.

Thank you for the review. I ordered it cause my boy is a puller. I love the lock feature and the front d ring. Hope it works well for his pulling.

@@NewEnglandPrepping haha. I would love to do marketing. I wish I knew how lol. I have a boxer bulldog and pittie mix. He’s big and is a puller. I’ve tried so many but the front clasp type totally changed my life. He won’t pull if it’s hooked in the front. I got another brand but didn’t like it cause it was complicated. More than it had to be. And no locking feature.

Just got two off amazon 16.99 each. Going to test today on my Rotts. One is 118 lbs 3 1/2 year old and one is 85 lb 1 1/2 yr old. I’ve had trouble controlling them together with just leashes. I’ll report back.

Just got back. It’s like night and day. I’ve never been able to walk my Rotts with any type of regular collar. These harnesses worked beautifully. I hooked on to front chest ring because they’re used to pulling. It took very little strength to control them. I have severe arthritis in my hands and honestly thought I’d never be able to walk them again. I’m thrilled.
@GrizzlyUrsusArctos4 жыл бұрын
From Point A to Point Z thank you. I’ve had Rotts since 1983 and never used a harness before. Now that I’m older (61) and arthritic it’s key to have control. I didn’t believe this would work before our walk. I’ll try the ring on the top next time to see if that works for us.

Do the nylon straps cause burns / sores from the tough material rubbing on the skin? Especially for a strong puller?

I’ve had one for a few months now, and I have a hard role adjusting the straps. My dog has such a weird body shape, that it doesn’t fit him that well.

From Point A to Point Z We’re not for sure what he’s mixed with, but we know he’s part poodle. He’s got a very weird body shape though. And long ass legs. He’s about 18 pounds.

@@binkieVengeance24 I have the identical problem, my dog is a Jack Russell mix with really long legs and also 18 lbs, the front chest piece just shifts to the side and sometimes she gets her leg out and then had both her legs in 1 I can't get the top straps tight enough on any harness for her for a front clip

Without a test on a hard pulling big dog it is basically a useless review.

@@NewEnglandPrepping You should quit doing "reviews" if you can't reply and respond without childish snark. It makes you appear petty and unable to process criticism. You need to have the ability to not to respond to reviews or to use it as an opportunity to improve. My conversation with you has concluded.
