Imo, the reason why magzay isnt popping off like it used too vs tanks is, when magzay was added the season diffrence between when gor/sko was out was only 2 seasons apart most people except whales probably dont have a good infantry gor/sko march but as season progresses they'll have more and better tanks and since infantry is tanky af and merits are determined by the amount of sev wounds you deal that could be a reason why

From the marches I’ve tried thundelyn with so far thund/mag w/ celestial has done the best for me. Still too early to tell how good new mages will be without the artifact but the utility alone will be big in the field

the problem with new mage is that thunderlyn's main skill does damage over 6 seconds, so if someone casts skill and move back, they do not get all damage.

i think the new mages need more march speed ، that's way the new artifact with 40% atk and 17% HP will give them better trade, so what i think about all of this is : thaleia / thunderlyn need really skilled player to play with because she's get hit Alot when you hit and back ( march spend problem)

I don’t think the new artifact will really make much of a difference in the merit reports. It’s amazing utility wise but I don’t think it will make the march crazy

Eh, I think people just are not building the Thaleia/Thundelyn legion correctly, I don't have Thaleia yet to do legion tests, but Damage over Time generally benefits most from high uptime. More so here because of the Numbness debuff and 4th skill. This means trying to Rage Gen as much as possible. A friend of mine (thank you RiMPaX) pointed out that the Pick-me-up talent (15 Rage on Heal or Shield) can proc twice in one turn for a shield AND heal. This means you can theoretically have consistent 7 or 8 second rage skill cycle with awakened Thaleia and right talent & warpet build. Can you imagine the Numbness debuff up 75% of the time and virtually non-stop 2 second DoT procs?? This would push the legion over the edge to be a great merit maker.

@@YTGunzCOD but you didn't get orb of protection talent and your warpet skills are not optimized for it :( to make pick me up worth it, you have to proc a certain amount of times to reach rage generation break points to reduce the rage cycle by a second. If you aren't proc'ing Pick Me Up enough, then its just a wasted talent build imo.

Gunz the Thundelyn AOE I believe is super tiny. Smaller than the scorch range of lilya. So if tankes are spread exactly where the unit circle are touching. There is a small chance it might not hit. I just know that AOE is tiny smaller than Phoenix eye AOE. So units need to be stack stacked

Crazy that there are people that think this is a support march. A 2 second debuff does not count lol. They are full offense with some tankiness and sustain to keep it in the field longer which should yield better merit reports except it’s not.

Something to keep in mind is that Thadelyn/Thaleia loses several buffs due to the Overwrite mechanics of the same name. Vigor (20% HP of the Vestals) = Overwrite Keep (15% ATK Tara ability) = Overwrite It is very likely that the additional effect of the artifact will also be Overwrite since Tara also grants reduction of damage received. I think it is a duo with potential, but it is not working properly. It is like Bert/Tohar in the beginning. But in their defense I also think that some do not take into account that if you have other duo like Lilya/Velyn and Bert/Tohar alongside the new heroes, these they will benefit extensively from the debuffs, especially +15% damage received for 6s.
