The issue with your list is context. If this was top 10 brands to find at Macy's or Nordstron, then maybe it resonates. Magnanni are ok but seripusly overpriced for a blake stitched shoe. AE quality has declined over the last decade but are ok goodyear welted shoes and always on sale. Great starter shoe. That being said, so many amazing quality shoes for $500 or less including Carlos Santos, TLB Mallorca, JFitzpatrick, CNES, Septieme Largeur, Cobbler Union, Vass and BLKBRD.
