its literally the same piano lmao just different preset foo 🤦🏾♂️🤣🤣 THE PIANO FIRST OF ALL IS THE BLUEPRINT TO ALL INSTRUMENTS with as amazing as it is its way easier to make ridiculous near impossible notes putting together sequences youve never heard of at the tap of a finger kinda the same as elec drums it’s like half the work you gotta do now

@@tiberionx I don't think that's what they meant. The drumming language he uses : chops, rythm changes and the triplet fills etc. is part of every advanced percussionist/drummer's toolbox. And anyone who can do what he did, thinks with that "vocabulary". That's kinda like you'd spot differences between smne who's studied jazz from an otherwise good musician who can improvise but without knowing or using jazz "codes" or rules and say jazz cats think alike.

I sat listening to the keyboard drummer thinking the same thing as you say, I have spent a lot of time behind drums and cymbals (it has been a while since now) but this will not be easy to perform on proper percussion. There is a shorter distance between the keys on the keyboard than the drums, and when we use two hands and two feet he can use ten fingers. I'm not saying that no one can do it, but those who try will probably have to struggle.

Yupp! 3 years as a drummer with a local gospel rock band they get a "second" keyboard player. Surprising everyone he lays down a simple beat during one of our concerts (not even the "correct" part for recorded song) and demonstrates his sequencer live. Inspired, but much against the bass player's advice that the drummer is the "heart of the band" and he as a bass player needs that human connection, all the vocalists decide to have a "meeting" and it probably goes something like this. "You know, even though our bass player says he's the "heart of the band" Roger takes too long setting up and tearing down his gear, not to mention Roger's TOO LOUD (why do his drums need mic's anyway?) and (leader chimes in) Roger won't use the "Cool Rods" live like he always does at rehearsal". Decision made, they take a vote to replace their friend Roger. Not having the decency to tell him as a band, the leader shows up at home of newly married drummer and tells him of band's decision to use a keyboard drummer instead because it will be easier on set up time, etc. and hands him final love offering check. Bass player calls later that night and says he was out voted! 2 months later without a "heartbeat" guess what? Yupp the band DIES! Seriously, they broke up!

But my Father can play all kinds of different instruments, he's a composer and has music on iTunes and CD Baby.
