This video was hugely helpful and the 80’s bowchickabowo music was icing on the cake. Seriously though the video was great.

Impressive those first two although the claw and toggle are pretty good we use them in the UK 🇬🇧 Thanks, Vince 😊

Is it true that every time you use an impact to drill holes, it generates a youtube like?
@VCGConstruction3 ай бұрын
Soooo many likes! 🤣🤣
@xdfanatic3 ай бұрын
It also generates a rough oblong hole depending on how much runout the impact has.

I use a screw to hang most things but those cork screw anchors are good for mid weight items. We those break away toggles at work alot.

What do you use it to hang?
@tony_the_tinker3 ай бұрын
It's useful to mention that in most of these hangers, the typical rule of thumb is to only hang 50 to 75% of the rated weight. Some packaging will even specify it. Also, even though one CAN use, say, the toggler, to mount a TV (and many people do) its really not that great of an idea to mount a TV in drywall. Go for the studs in those situations. 😉

I love the video but with the potential for these anchors to rip out of the wall maybe eye protection next time especially at 26:15 I thought Vince was about to have a bad day

Vince, can you do a video comparing DIY Homeowner tool brands and which are the best ones I know that market has grown and I haven’t kept up with it. What are your recommendations?
@olgajoachimosmundsen46473 ай бұрын
Yo Vince! Are 30 degree nails in the US true 30 degrees? I bought a nailer in the US and just realized that the piston in my gun mostly strikes the shank instead of the head of the nail, resulting in misfires. We use 34 degree nails in europe. When I run the nails in the detached magazine I notice the angle between the nails and magazine is a little different

good job Vince-I use the monkey hook and it does great. I think I caught this on past video. Also, like that you have a carpenter's pencil. To top it off, it is a Skil and goes with the hat. What Carpenter' a fashion statement!! Carpenter is the right word for this?

There is only one dry wall anchor when it comes to hanging anything heavy and it wasn’t in this video. Gripit are the strongest drywall anchors by far. You could hang Clint’s ego off one of those!
