Anyone else miss the old school dubstep ? I find the new stuff weak personally but obviously allot of people love this so I guess the genre is changing and so are the people... Crazy how music changes and keeps the name ! I'd class this as melodic dubstep to be honest. I myself am a brutal drops kinda guy haha.

I haven't listened to dubstep since 2010ish. This stuff sounds closer to retro/synthwave than it does dubstep.

@@ScubzMcTalBowling I think dubstep is a form of synth wave in way, I mean the amount of synths, time and effort it take just to make a nice sounding hard hitting bass is unreal !, Retreo synthwave and dubstep have its similarities but they have more differences, as dubstep in my opinion (the old stuff anyway) was more about that hard hitting bass while retro synth wave is more about chilling out, its like retro synth wave been the weed of music and dubstep being crack, its a whole other level haha
