Van Basten by a mile. Kluivert was great but not as consistent. Van Nistelroy was also a great striker but not on MVB’s level.

Van Basten was injured throughout his career and played most on 80% of his capacities. Retired at 28. Still managed to win the following with a destroyed ankle: Europacup II 6 x league championship 2 x worldcup for clubteams 2 x champions league 1 x cup 6 x national cup 1 x european championship All this at age 27 when, he played for the last time. And the list of individual awards is too long to put here. As a striker, he was even better than cruijff.

And he even won a few ballondors as well. Had he played an injury free career i dont know what could have happened. Would have ended atleast in the top 3 of all time

Easily van Basten who was a freak. Such a shame that crippling injuries brought his career to a very premature end. He could have been rated as the best striker of all time if that weren't the case. Cruyff should have also been part of this discussion beecause he started out as a pure striker, but became much more than that.

Overall van basten. Coming through at 18-19 years old Kluivert had everything, better than van basten at 18. Kluivert was what Nicolas anelka, Wayne Rooney, Michael Owen, Brazilian Ronaldo were. Top class, technically polished with an already excellent understanding and decision making as teenagers coming through. Remember Kluivert won champions league as teenager back when there were 10 clubs who could win them

Yes Kluivert was very good already at the age of 18 but the difference between him and Ronaldo at the age of 18 was as even more than the difference between him and Van Basten. 94 Eredevisie, Kluivert for Ajax score 18 while Ronaldo for an even weaker side, PSV scored 30, outclassing him by far. And no need for any overalls, Van Basten (also Ronaldo, since you brought him up in the discussion) are lightyears ahead of Kluivert

I think Kluivert was the original MBappe. So he was world class as a teenager and was always good but played for smaller and smaller clubs as his career went on, it is kinda under appreciated how good he was. 1. Van Basten, 2.Dennis Berkamp 3. Kluivert and 4. Can Nistlerooy.

Kluivert was good just in Ajax, in Milan he played really bad, in barca he was fine but nothing special just couple of years. At 28yo he already gave his best (???) and ended to play in lower teams scoring like 20 goals in 75 matches. He stop play for national team at 27yo. Van nisterlooy is another level for sure. And Huntelaar is still a crazy goals machine even at 37yo, he scores 360 goals. Kluivert 190..

Van Basten was something else, a true superstar. Hands down the best Dutch striker ever and one of the best in history. Van Nistelrooy comes next as a great finisher as he was and had a great and consistent club career. Kluivert somehow could’ve offer much more since he peaked so early but at 27,28 old his form went downhill and quickly vanished as a great forward.

You see Müller had an 18 years career back in black & white the early 60s & throughout the 70s till 1981 were he played in America “soccer” not even football🤦🏻‍♂️ in comparison to the mighty Marco who played in much much competitive era & higher leagues against proper defenders/keepers in a career that went on just over a decade YET Marco was more dangerous & scored spectacular memorable legendary goals as the bests couldn’t handle THE BEAST. A scoring machine striker with FLAIR (not boring “fat short Muller” that was his nickname among the Germans btw). A 3 times Ballon D’Or winner puts him on bar with two other true legends in Platini & his compatriot Johan Cruyff when Marco’s career cut short at age 28 he was the Ballon D’Or holder already imagine if he had continued few more seasons he’d have scooped couple more. Glad to educate you son. I rest my case. Thank you all.

Van Basten, Nistelrooy, and Kluivert, in that order. All of them are crazy, but Kluivert isn't as consistent ad Nistelrooy. Van Basten, even in his later years during injury, he still scores LOT of goals. I think if Van Basten didn't got that injury, he could be best striker of all time and bring Netherlands to win at least 1 world cup
