BEST E-BIKE FOR GRABFOOD DELIVERY!? | A JIMOVE MC E-bike review

I feel that the wheel size is really a big factor since we are moving on the road. Sometime a hole in the road really get us bad especially we always on the left lane (bus lane). I heard from my friend that jimove mc does not really work well at slope. So what is your opinion and experience on the upslope? Nevertheless, I do have a zebra ebike which has plug to play battery which could easily last whole day and increased max speed (highest 40km per hour). Just that mod ebike might probably get caught by the lta authority (so called GM) and so I wanted to get a new ebike

If u’re moving from a 24inch to 14inch, the difference in riding experience is real. Probably its best to try test a mc before u commit since its not cheap. And speed isn’t a thing for mc due to the small 14inch wheel, u may have to accept to go gear 3 at times. (And for longer rides as well) I have zero issues with upslope (probably coz im small size, i weigh 57-58kg). But more of downslope, becoz its back heavy. If u brake too hard on a very steep downslope, u can feel yur bike lift abit. Lastly if u using a 14inch ebike, u practically using zero muscles leg energy since it’s so easy to pedal even if on slope.

The battery cap is amazing, especially when i run it at gear 3. Bought myself a MC some time ago and I love it at first, the speed and power going up slope is pretty good. Even the brakes are good too. However after awhile i had issues with the shaky stem and had to tighten it myself quite a few times. I'm not even sure if its the manufacturing or a common issues. Hitting low ramp or those 'tiny kerbs' hurts quite a bit as well. Especially Singapore roads are not smooth n flat. The pot hole is definitely a killer for small tyres. Will be nice to install suspension on the front fork or change the seat with a more springy cushion Other than that, I can say its a pretty decent bike with a battery that can last quite long.

Haha yea bro same thoughts! Would love a suspension and springy seat but i guess they reach the max weight limit which i just realise is cap at 20kg if not it wont be lta approved. Nevertheless i still like it for its range. Have yet to try those 16inch ebike with suspension (even though smaller battery), maybe tat would chge my mind.

I reckoned your recommendations on the bigger battery stands out in terms of durability and speed sags. However, I prefer the wheel size to be 16" instead of 14" in terms of stability road skids. It would best built with spring absorbers which some of the newer bikes have to overcome ride discomfort over bumps. Thank for the introductions and well elaborated videos made. Speaks with clarity. Bluetags are still better. U can customise your batt size with more overall weight limit. Swing arm and motorbike suspension makes riding more comfortable.

Depends on yur terrain and your hotspot location and greenman frequency as well if it matters to u. I suggest u try using a mtb first if u alrdy have one.

I usually does delivery at yishun which is pretty flat terrain. So far, i have no issue. My lighter weight also contributed to it. If yur area is steep hills, i strongly recommend getting a 48v ebike instead. There is a big difference in torque.

i think if doing grab food using Ebike, better choose those 20 inch ebike, because on the road if you use the small ebike, other car or bus may not see you at the side. so better buy 20 inch above ebike for your safety purpose....

My area is quite pcn friendly. Im on pcn 80% of the time. And battery is a big issue for bigger ebike. ( due to lta 20kg weight limit) Hence most ppl still go for ji move mc in my area. Not sure about other areas though haha.

My ebike venom+2 from Wellington circle Sembawang ride till the roti prata place upper Thomson then from upper Thomson ride back Wellington circle. I cover with max gear number 3, (25KM) left with 1 bar. I guess can go around 28KM max gear. My speed will not decrease even if left 1 bar. But one problem when I brake, very loud sound coming out. Fix already. Say my rotor bend. Then ask me ride longer distance. Then won’t have sound. But still got sound

@@OhAdamCi my venom+2 is not like nakxus got suspension. My seat vry hard leh. Sit till butt pain. And their way is do marketing strategy to tackle buyers. Actually can ride 110km, but need used 1st gear only. Which only can go max speed 15km. Which is damn slow. And 1st gear can only pedal asist 50%. So if u go slope will be so tiring especially at SSC there.

Not sure about the model of that ebike. Depend if on part time or full time. Part time 10ah battery shld be enough for u. If not u will ned extra battery. Try a few diff ebike before u buy one

Never got the chance to overload the ebike before i return it 😂. And im quite lightweight 55-58kg so i dont really have an ans for tat... but i didn notice any issue with any orders so far.

I bought the ebike pre-order wait till nearly 2 months , close to 1 month I sell it yesterday since the inner tube 3 times got small hole . 1 on the front & 2 on the back. Really suey Sia , lucky got people buy it for quite a reasonable price and purchase zebra not bad la since it look like normal bicycle. Just need to purchase extra battery since it's 50km distance for zebra.
