Helpful video, it's my first time clearing farm. though i ended up using a lot of medkits and guns, and even died because the chest opener caused a horde and i didn't know that, i panickly ran and ended up getting myself cornered then the bull came in and ragdolled me. in the end the loot is worth it.

I think its become harder to wall trick at the front gate after this 1.20.9 update, like the zombies hit range become closer and wont give space to wall trick, have u tried it?

Extremely helpful video! Some ldoe channels don't get to the point right away, so this video is really nice to have. Although I do have a few questions. Are there any passives that one should invest in before going to crooked creek farm? I'm thinking medic and glutton would be good, but it would be nice to hear some fellow ldoe player opinions about it. Also should I take any spare armor/weapons and if so, which would be the most cost effective things to bring? Machetes can get a little expensive for me at the moment, due to base building.

The lvl dosnt matter if u have the necessary equipment its enough to do it the farm is a little bit more difficult than Bunker alfa well not that difficult bt it is im a lvl 104 and i can handle things a little bit u know not that much bt a little bit u gotta farm a lot of machete and pipes and the bigger ones such as saw blade mace and skull crasher which are perfect for bunker alfa

@@stalker3839 it's not just equipment, it's the skills that matter. I didnt even realize there is sneaking lvl 2 which I got at lvl 90. It's really dope. However I do agree with you that Crooked Creek Farm is more difficult than Bunker Alfa but it's manageable.

@@solaire4948 yeah the skill counts too bt the most important skill imo is the wall trick thing is very risky in bunker afla though bt is also very useful and yeah bt all u i need to do is to farm pipes and to do that i need to go to yellow limestone cliffs bt ive heard that there the big one can come and kill u and when i heard i stopped going there i was pretty scared u know bc i had stacks of iron and stuff bt yeah the farm is not impossible is also very important bc from there u can get blueprints bt is pretty hard not that much bt pretty hard

@@stalker3839 i agree with what you said. You can easily exploit walk trick however I'm way too scared to do that against Frenzied Giant. I usually leave him at 45 hp and then I use walk trick just then to execute him. Regarding farm difficulty is higher than Bunker Alfa but only on normal mode. I tried doing it on hard but it was way too difficult. I would waste a lot of ammo so I'll just play it normal. Imma try doing crooked creek farm cuz I'm lvl 100 and I'm well stocked on guns and common, uncommon and rare materials. And like you said crooked creek farm is the only place where you can get rare and purple blueprints and those can really come in handy. Besides Blackport PD of course and Alfa. Those are the only locations I know that can drop rare blue prints

@@solaire4948 yeah right u can find em everyone bt the at the Farm is a guaranteed one i ddnt do the farm that much bt i saw a lot of videos and right now with the season 18 i need to get krampy and to reach 750 presents value we need to do both bunker floor 2 and 3 and farm is cool bt i donf have that much melee weapons and i need to craft some.. bt the problem is the iron and i have 319 . And i prefer to find melee weapons in cheap way the dealer is the best way bt he asks for the same things everyday u know bt do it , every weapon is welcome for him

No u get it in VIP zone at gas station it take 24 hour to repair a gun And u can only repair 1 gun at a time best use for repairing Milkor MGL since they are hard to get

Is the big bone for spear mods worth (not the crafting price but the damage increase compared with durability loss) because i regularly use 100 woods to craft spear and clear bunker alfa with walltrick for both normal and hardmode, i usually spend 1,5 to 2 hours clearing the hardmode floor 2 and 3, so maybe if i craft that bone spear mod i will clear it faster.

If you use spears in alfa then definitely you can upgrade the spear mods. These days people don't use spear but happy to hear from you. Though it's time consuming but worth enough. Do it🙂

No, it's based on luck, 90% chance that the barn would be opened and the nearer you are to it, the higher the chance. I cleared the farm once but it's still locked.

You dont need moded weapons, they anyways break way too fast. You'll just spend your time and resources trying to get the mods. Just take 2-3 normal Glock, AK, M16 and go kill em. P.S The most durable weapon against Frenzied Giant is Glock (no mods), you can kill 5 of them but be careful and dont get too close as they can hit you.

They have made the farm so much worse. Before you could do it with only one stack of food and now there are 4 raiders of which 2 with firearms and 2-3 clusters of zombies. Not worth doing if you don't have chopper for chopper trick
