Tnx dude, it worked. I built it so i could get 2 tridants for my automatic raid farm. I havent got diamond or neth amor so the drownies were to strong for me to kill them for tridants and your farm works great, bit slow but it does the job. Now my automatic raid farm works, totems and emeralds for life. Tnx man

Thanks for this 1up, but had to make adjustments because I play on PS. Can’t change my sim distance to 4 because I’m locked into 8. Found that I had to look around the ocean for drowned areas. Built close to an ocean ruin and shipwreck. Because of the sim distance issue, made a trident killer and afk 40 blocks above the spawning floor (around y175) and hold my looting 3 sword. Had 8 tridents in about 20 minutes. Hope these fixes help anyone else struggling.

Make sure you use spawn proof blocks like slabs or bushes on top of whatever you place

Also keep mobs away , light the area up and don’t place any blocks or have any more mobs or villager that might the distract golems and make them fight the water stream

It works but the spawn rate seems inconsistent any help? (Yes my sim is 4) and I tried my best to kill any nerby drowns in the ocean plus used some glowstone to light it up to stop spawning down there but the spawn rate just seems horrible.

I built this in my world and it works no problem. I built it on my friends world for him and nothing spawns. Wish I could tell you what the difference is.

One very small but annoying issue in your video is that you didn't say how many leafs we needed for the build so if you could add it it will wonderful

@@RedBone0212 yeahh.. i saw a video and i think the only way now is to trade with a nautilus shell.. only work with the one with tridents ofcourse and they spawn only were they normally spawn.. so try make a farm so you can lure them easily into a gap that shoots them above water and then trade with them..

Would building up to Y 130 help with spawn rates? I built my gunpowder farm over an ocean at Y 130 and the spawn rates are consistent. But then again, I’m not sure about the specifics of Drowned spawning.

Dude grow up. It's not a scam, you're just unlucky. Build it least 100 blocks away from other farms, build it 100-150 blocks out in ocean, don't build near river, set simulation distance to 4.
