I suggest to use larger spacers with the same diameter as the outter ring of the bearing. The spacers with diameter smaller than the outter ring put pressure on the balls.

Yes sir! Damage bearing will damage the housing.

That’s the brake lever sensor not making contact. You can try to fix that by pressing down the brake meanwhile is the scooter rebooting. If that doesn’t set it back then try removing the lever and check if sensor it’s loose.

Do you know how hard is to replace the axle? That type of jobs a technician would be able to do. Here my advise, which is the easiest! Go to a repair shop and have them remade the thread. (You will need to replace the nut to a smaller size or buy the thread maker) Next choice buy the wheel. Unless front wheel. Again new wheel also would be cheaper and faster.
