I love Danes Whirlwind so much, even more than the Starfist. In NG+1 I got Radhan down in 4 charged ash of wars attacks before he got to phase 2. Great addition to Elden Ring

If you could put bloodflame blade on this, you could make some kind of fist of the Northstar kenshiro build and punch the shit out you enemies before walking away and letting the bloodflame finish them off

i feel like Perfumes got only a few Situations where they work good as actual Weapon, like on bigger enemys

Perfumes are shit. Only time I used them was the earlier parts of ng+, because I felt super overpowered and needed to nerf myself

Well you CAN get the same super damage with that one ash, but now it actually takes a brain and a large enemy to do so Still mid af, but cool looking

You can put the blasphemous blade in your offhand than two hand the weapon for better combos and still get health recovery on every kill.

I was hoping you'd cover non-powerstanced usage of these weapons, but I assume they're still about as hot garbage as they felt like when I forced myself through DLC at launch with Greatshield + Dryleaf. 💀

What confuses me the most is that you can't give them weapon buffs which makes sense you wouldn't set yourself on bloodflame, but why do we upgrade them exactly like other weapons? Does the smith just bonk your hands now?

Half expected him to put hand to hand in D tier purely because of how much (over) emphasis he puts on range. Like, we get it, range can matter somewhat. But considering you usually are going to be practically hugging the boss as A melee build unless dodging away you are typically going to hit regardless 😂. And if you somehow aren't... you likely have bigger problems having more range won't solve.
