So it's like golf, lower scores are better. Blue (C920) has 5 points. Yellow (C921) has 8 points. Orange (B520) has 10 points. Red (A121) has 10 points. Green (B521) has 12 points. Interesting. My memory is that I enjoyed B520 more than C921, but what good is memory compared to putting them side by side?

Nice! Great way to put it. But yeah, it's always interesting trying things like this side by side (by side, by side....). Ultimately it's imperfect because the finish will carry over and your palate can get blown out, but it's still fun!

Sounds like on a point scale red and orange tied but I’d say the advantage goes to orange since the double d tag team put it ahead of red. I wish I could do this lineup but I’m missing both c batches. I do have a c919 (68.4%) though still.

Well, you guys did good for having to taste so many high proofs. I have a B20 & a C21 that I picked up from the distillers and have yet to crack. Those bottles have high regards amongst the bourbon community with C20 edging out the B20 by a little. Can't wait to open those when I get back my Ky home this spring.

B521 is the only one Ive had and although it’s a little simplistic, it’s still a solid bourbon and I can’t wait to try future batches

The only open bottle of ECBP that I have on the bar is C920. It is one of my favorite Bourbons on the bar. I was enjoying a glass while watching the video. Can you really say that one release of ECBP is bad? Maybe when compared to other ECBPs, but I think that they are all pretty good Bourbons.

I’m happy to have any of these. Comparing 20 to 21 releases is like trying to compare 90’s NBA to current times, different era. Should have left b520/c920 out.

I was able to get a hazmat store pick at 137.5 and a c920 and 21. I killed a c917 and it wad so amazing after i let it sit for awhile in an opened bottle.

All of the ECBP batches were the best thing about 2020. B521 is the only ECBP I would call disappointing.

Excellent review and comparison, was hoping you guys would compare the different years. No surprise all three 2021 bottles ranked behind the 2020 bottles. I think 2022 will be even worse. Buy up all u can now of 2020 and older bottles if u can find them cause it’s gonna be downhill from here for ECBP I’m afraid.
