I remember coming across these videos several years ago after finally clicking on the thumbnail of that guy who comments under every KZbin video. I was an enthusiastic and excited premed hoping that one day I could be like these students. Now as an M2, I'm not nearly as enthusiastic and excited anymore, yet these videos are finally relevant. How time flies....

Ah I feel like I remember your account from back in the day. It’s funny how you found my videos, and I’m happy that you were able to get into med school. Time does fly- too fast sometimes, it feels. Hang in there, the day to day gets more engaging as you go along!

Year 1 and 2 are soul crushing. 3rd year is much, much better. DOING medicine is far more rewarding than cramming endlessly over material that may or may not be very relevant. Plus you will find out the areas of medicine that most attract you, and will give you something to be truly excited about.
