I’m in the minority but I loved that Katherine took over Elena’s body. I understand people wanted her to have some sort of redemption but at the end of the day she’s one of the villains of the show and it completely fits her arc of being a “survivor” and doing what she needs to do to survive. The stupid thing was what she did after she took over Elena

For someone that's been running for 500 years her last act was to snatch the body of her doppelganger thinking nobody would find out. That's not being a survivor. That's being dumb.

@@MrSupertallblackman I totally agree, Especially with the Klaus and Caroline part. I've always found it so cringe that they decided to create some romantic tension between those two. Her fucking Klaus in the woods basically equals fucking the murderer that killed the mother of her ex boyfriend without mercy not to long ago. And is the sole reason why her relationship with Tyler basically failed. To make matters worse he's also responsible for a long of horrible things that have happened to her and her friends. I'm guessing getting Hybrid dick from Tyler made her curious how the original Hybrid dick would feel lol.

@셰이𝚂𝚑𝚊𝚢♡ Strong words indeed but all very true in my opinion. Especially when it comes down to the whole Tyler/Carolina/Klaus thing. The Vampire Diaries has some of the most horrible writing in terms of romance which was made worse by the fact that the show started focusing more on romance.

I feel the anxiety again because of next episodes with Katherine being Elena just by thinking about them... Nina is so good. I don't think I ever get enough of repeating how well she played in tvd. Even with Elenas clothes, hair and makeup when she wake up she still immediately has Katherine facial expressions and it's obvious it's not Elena. The way how she manage to distinct them apart is absolutely crazy for me.

yeah, i actually liked her a lot in season 5 until this happened and it just made her utterly unlikable and an annoyance obsessed with elena and i get she's supposed to be 'the villian' but even characters who are pretty bad have some kind of likeability but when she took away elena's body all of that went away and just became annoying which is why they should have left it as is and let her die

I agree but I also think that her going here just wouldn't have suited her character. She's known as the one who does ANYTHING necessary to survive. That's how she made it this far. If she had a way to survive and didn't take it, it would be really out of character.

Especially when she did it 'cause she wanted to be with Stefan but did she really think she could copy Elena so well that she could be with Stefan and him not find out? I have to disagree. Obviously us viewers really like Katherine as a character. But it made no real sense for Stefan to sleep with Katherine let alone defend her this much just because he thought she was dying. You gotta put yourself in the minds of the characters and think of all the bad things Katherine has done.

Welcome to my least favorite storyline in the entirety of the show. This season in general is probably my least favorite mainly because of these next several episodes. The first half of the season through this episode I really enjoyed, and the last several episodes are fantastic. The finale of this season is one of my favorite episodes of the entire show. But this story with Katherine after she jumps into Elena and a lot of the things that happen because of it I really don’t like. Not to say that these next few episodes don’t have anything good about them, but there’s a lot of issues I have with them. I’m looking forward to your thoughts over the next few reactions. And if you don’t end up being a big fan of these next few episodes, there’s a lot of amazing stuff coming at the end of the season.

It's because she manipulated him, the reason he died in the first place and made him think she was trapped in the tomb for over a hundred years waiting to be able to bring her back just to find out she's been living her life all this time.
