Quick things to note as well, Asus also has a lighter weight app for PC called "Armoury Crate Gear" that should be quicker and easier to use than the standard Armoury Crate( I hate all the popups that the regular Armoury Crate has too guys, lol) so keep this in mind!! And for those of us completely against the use of any software, there is a few configurations you can do with the mouse buttons themselves called "OnBoard Control" that can change DPI, LOD, Polling Rate, as well as performing a quick reset on the mouse.

Does this mouse work in Armoury Crate Gear? ASUS's website doesn't mention if it's supported or not and only links to a download for the full Armoury Crate

will be considering this mouse! How would you rate it against the deathadder v3 pro btw?
@TooMuchTech9 ай бұрын
I haven't used the DAV3 Pro in a while but I would say the coating is very similar from what I remember and I think for around the same price, I like the clicks, the side grips more on the Asus and I think it may be a tad smaller in some areas which i think will help with grip too. And you get the bluetooth connection optional + 4K Dongle included with the Asus where the Razer doesn't and its heavier

Wish they used Omron optical switches! By far the best feeling opticals on the marked imo. The search continues for a ergo Omron optical mouse.

I think the Sprime PM1 uses Omrons.
@VonBoomer9 ай бұрын
@@hwi7114 Yes, I have it. But it´s not fully ergo shape. ROG Keris 2 Ace is more like EC-shape which I like. And slightly larger than the EC3-CW, but still using "regular" optical switches. Omron feels premium!
@hwi71148 ай бұрын
@@VonBoomer Gotcha, I did notice that the PM1 looked to have a much smaller hump and less slope than a normal ergo, but I've never had one in hand, so wasn't really sure.

Thanks for the review I might get this. I have questions though 1: how's the build quality compared to razer DAV3 2: does it have a RGB light on the scroll wheel like the rog harpe ace? Like battery indicator? 3: does the large mouse skates similar to the skates of zowie ec wired?
@TooMuchTech9 ай бұрын
Hey! Glad to hear, 1. Build quality is great on both mice but the weight is noticeably lighter on the Asus without compromising rigidity and it has more features + cheaper 2. It does have an RGB light on the scroll wheel and you can set when you want it to notify you about low battery 3. The large skates are the same PTFE so performance would be similar to other good quality PTFE skates. I don’t have an EC to look at but I have other similar mice and these skates on the Keris were neither bad or exceptional, Adequate. Most skates nowadays are all good but if you have a preference you can always buy your own

hi, wat's the actuation force of the clicks? Thanks.
@Hoya9959 ай бұрын
Is the Clicking sound louder than the Harpe Ace? And also, I find Harpe Ace quite hard to press, is Keris ii lighter?
@TooMuchTech9 ай бұрын
Keris II for sure is lighter feeling. the Harpe like some others have very crispy and tactile click feel but the Keris is softer yet spamable
@ASUSUSA9 ай бұрын
Keep in mind the switches differ ( HARPE is our ROG mechanical micro switch and the KERIS II ACE features our new ROG optical switch )

i feel like heavier mouse are better to accurately maneuver. I would rather have a heavy mouse that are of high quality build plus long battery life. Any suggestions??

Then use lightweight mouse with control pads

The Harpe Ace is as well built a mouse as I have ever tried. If this is as good, I'll get it when it inevitably goes on sale.
@TooMuchTech9 ай бұрын
Not a bad plan. I was sad that the Harpe wasn’t compatible with the polling booster unfortunately but I’m sure they’ll have a Harpe 2 that will eventually
@noisenoys9 ай бұрын
@@TooMuchTech i saw a comment from asus that they wont have a harpe 2, instead it will compatible with the polling booster. Just need to update the firmware and buy the polling booster that will be available soon
