I get one lightning for around every 30 LD scrolls. 813 LD scroll summons in my monster storage,not a single LD5. Should have multiple by now. To play a game for almost 10 years to still not have an LD5 is so trash.

For the most players it’s an easy choice, pick the l&d units because the elements can be obtained really easy. I missed the dark samurai hoh because I took a break and didn’t manage to get him from scrolls. For the players who didn’t take a break from the game in the last 10 years it’s just about wich units needed skillups.

I’m glad I eventually came back after… a semi-hiatus. Still wasn’t 100% into the game until a couple years ago when I decided eff it… still not doing RTA cause that’s never been my bag (chat and Reddit can be full of a-holes unless you do RTA religiously)… but I am happy to say (from someone who didn’t care not too long ago) I finally SSS the Rift Beasts and World Boss. Which honestly never thought I would ever pull off. Especially the Lift Rift, that drove me NUTS after I was able to get SSS on the others.

As soon as i seen he was covering something related to the 10-year anniversity for summoners war i was interested but quickly became sad because that means the 10 year anniversy is coming and the ned of jewbagel. I have started with YDCB and then went to jewbagel, i have watched you even when i dont play the game and still to this day i watch you. A lot of the time, when I see hoh, I think about skillups and rn I mostly need galleon skillups, but annoyingly, most weeks, when there's a pirate captain, there's also ANOTHER unit I need for skillups or a unit I want to build so I guess I'mma feed the light pirate captain to my galleon 🤷‍♂️

I think you really underestimated the value of skill-ups for 4 star units. Especially if you're trying to build a lot for siege. Many people don't have multiple skilled up cichlids for example. I think for many of us, we're going to enjoy getting skill-ups. Especially since the HoH LD4s always seem to drop more from scrolls.

Conclusion: HoH is just a gimmick! I didnt miss any hoh and most nat4 are fully skilled up but for my alt accounts this event is huge. I guess there are still many player who doesnt chose the "bad" LDs they dont have yet and cry later if those get a buff ;)

The LD priority pick feels like not necessary anymore since nowdays is very easy to get LD scrolls and most of your LD4 will be these HoH mobs anyway. Back in the days, yes. We hardly get LD scroll other than from ToA. Picking whacky LD4 on a progressing moment will only ruin the momentum. The only consideration is if only it's a fusion mobs
